Alex was currently standing in front of a building. According to what the thug said, This was the headquarters of the red scorpion gang.
'Now, how should I enter?'.
As he was thinking how he should enter the building, when suddenly the main door of the building opened and a guy came out.
"Who the hell are you?"
Alex didn't even bother answering as he charged at the guy, and smacked his face. The guy flew back into the building.
Taking that chance Alex entered the building.
"Fuck, we are under attack"
One of the gang members shouted, as he pulled out a gun and started shooting.
Alex ducked and slid across the room dodging the bullets. However, one of the bullets grazed his hand.
Alex quickly hid behind one of the walls to take cover.
"Shit"
Alex underestimated them. He never heard of this gang in DC, so he thought they weren't a big deal. And now he was paying the price.
Soon, more and more people joined and started shooting at him.
Alex looked at the blood coming out of his hand, he felt the gravity of the situation.
'Breathe in, breathe out. Calm down, calm down'
Alex started muttering trying to calm himself down. His raw defenses weren't durable enough to defend against the bullets.
However, an idea came to his mind. What if he uses his mana to enhance his defensive attack power. Alex concentrated as he tried controlling the mana inside him. And the result was

Alex quickly activated [Reinforcement]. He could feel himself getting stronger. After that, he came out from the wall he was hiding behind.
"He came out"
"Kill the bastard"
The gang members started shooting him again, however this time the bullets didn't pierce through. They kept on shooting till their bullets run out.
"What the fuck..?"
"Shit, he must be one of those metafreaks."
"Damn it, damn it...."
All the gang members turned pale with fear, when they suddenly heard a laugh. The laugh was almost eerie, as they felt a chill run down their spine.
It was Alex. He was currently extremely excited. Well, it wasn't a surprise. Alex was an ordinary teenager. And it is the dream of any kid at one point in their life to be a superhuman.
And now, his wish has come true. He was a superhuman. He was someone who could come unscathed from bullets.
His eyes then turned towards the trembling gang members. He shot towards them and punched one of them. The moment his fist came into contact with the face, there was no resistance, and the only thing he could feel was a gush of warm blood.
However, he wasn't done. He kept on chasing and brutally killing the rest of the gang members. And the only thing he could hear were their screams and the notifications sounds of his system.
