"Yeah. I wanted to review and get familiar with the latest legal provisions and some cases," Rachel said. "Especially local laws, there are always changes every year. Even as a lawyer, you have to keep up with the newest information."
"Is that all you bought today?" Jeffrey's voice softened as he asked.
"When I was at the bookstore, something happened, and I ran into Garrett Vincent," Rachel said, not hiding anything.
