As Josephine spoke, she trailed off, glancing awkwardly at Rachel.
After all, Camila wasn't just Jeffrey's former fiancée... she had also been a victim in that tragic car accident.
As if sensing her friend's worry, Rachel said, "Don't worry, I'll figure this out. Camila deserves justice, and I need to clear my name too!"
"Anyway, enough about me. What about you? How are things with Kieran?" Rachel asked.
Josephine shrugged. "What can I say? It's just… like this." She rolled her eyes. "We look like a normal couple, that's all."
Sometimes it felt too normal, to the point where she wondered if she was even really dating Kieran.
More often than not, she found herself lost in this fake relationship, having to remind herself it was all just an act.
Kieran was simply waiting for her to fall for him so he could get his revenge.
