Ava, having saved the City from the artifact's misuse was hailed as a hero. She stood on the balcony of the city's central tower, looking out over the sprawling metropolis.
Liam joined her, his eyes scanning her face. " You did it, Ava. You saved the city, the lost City. Once lost,now found,not only found but saved. " He said smiling at her.
Ava smiled back, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. " We did it together, Liam. "
Liam's expression softened, and he took a step closer to Ava. " I'm glad we did. I don't know what I would have done without you."
Ava's heart skipped a beat as she met Liam's gaze,she felt a spark of attraction and for a moment, she wondered if there was more to their friendship than she'd realized.

Liam's lips curled into a gentle smile. " I've felt it for a while now...I was afraid to say anything,but..I think I'd like to explore this further."
Ava's cheeks flushed, her face red from blushing, and she felt a sense of excitement or... something else. " I'd like that too."

As they pulled back, Ava smiled up at Liam. " That was nice." She said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Liam smiled back,his eyes crinkling at the corners. " Nice doesn't even begin to describe it," he said . " That was amazing."
