'Interesting...' Alex thought to himself. 'These two boys are onto something.'
However, rather than voicing his thoughts just yet, Alex turned towards Sugud.
"What do you think?" he asked.
"Huh? You're asking me?" Sugud looked surprised.
"Yes, I am." Alex nodded. "Eleanore and I both have skin in the game. They're our brothers, after all. I doubt anything we say will carry as much weight as your observations.
"Besides, you're the Director of Research and Development in my domain. This falls squarely within your job description."
Sugud accepted the responsibility with a nod.
He turned towards Wilbert and Marcus, who were waiting nervously for his assessment.
"To be honest, I'm a little disappointed," Sugud suddenly said.
The two boys felt their hearts sink.
