"Big Brother, what are you thinking about?"
Wilbert tugged at Alex's clothes, bringing him out of his thoughts.
"Sorry. The potential of your designs impressed me so much that I got lost in thought," Alex said.
"You're impressed by our design choices? You really mean that, Brother?" Wilbert's eyes lit up with hope.
"You don't have to lie to us just because we're children or your brothers. Most of the adults around us have already told us how flawed our designs are, so there's no need for you to pretend," Marcus added, sounding somewhat dejected.
Lucien also lowered his head.
Alex frowned.
He quickly realised that the unconventional direction the two boys had chosen for their designs had led everyone around them to believe that their ideas had no merit compared to established methods.
Alex knelt before the two of them.
"You know me, Wilbert. I'm a Fury. I'm far too proud to lie, especially to my own brother," he said.
