CH960 Doppelganger Duel

Cling!
Aiden was knocked backwards, nearly spitting out a mouthful of blood. However, thanks to the formidable defence of his Magic Armour, he had been spared from having a blade driven through his neck.
Aiden immediately counterattacked.
[Ghost Step]!
However, the Lightning Avatar easily evaded his desperate strike by a hair's breadth before slipping inside his guard. Its blade shrank further, transforming into a dagger.
The Avatar trapped Aiden's weapon-holding arm before its dagger flashed, striking rapidly at Aiden's armpit, nape, and finally his heart.
Unfortunately, all three strikes were once again blocked by Aiden's Magic Armour.
Aiden immediately brought his sword down in a powerful slash, finally bisecting the Lightning Avatar.
The arena suddenly fell silent.
Aiden heaved a sigh of relief.
'Finally! I've taken down that annoying Avatar.'
He turned towards Alex, who was still leaning against the wall.
