Chapter 29 - hero

A portal opened, and from within, Unknown emerged, furious at The Creator. Unknown lifted The Creator using his power, "Hey idiot, what are you doing!"

Panicking, The Creator could only answer while trembling, "Wh- what?"

Unknown pulled The Creator in front of him, "What did you do to my dimensional wall?!"

"Wh- what is that? Does it really exist!" said The Creator.

Bam!!

A rough punch landed on The Creator's body, knocking him to the ground.

"Oi bastard, how could you change my world without knowing anything! You idiot box!"

Seeing The Creator trembling violently made Unknown feel a little sympathetic. He let out a long sigh and asked somewhat more calmly, "Where is your kingdom?"

The Creator lowered his head, "In the void,I didn't want people to become like me, so I hid it in the void so no one could access it."

With a long sigh, Unknown walked back towards his portal. He raised one hand up as if to encourage The Creator, "Defend this world as best as you can."

Unknown then disappeared along with his portal.

...

Whoosh!!!

The Earth's sky, which was once blue, was now torn like a canvas forcibly ripped from the inside. Pitch-black clouds rolled erratically, reflecting flashes of blood-red lightning that struck endlessly.

The sound of dimensional distortion rumbled like the roar of thousands of monsters, drowning out the remaining screams of panic in the city below.

Hot cosmic winds swept across the land. Amidst the ruins of skyscrapers where fires still blazed, concrete debris and shards of glass began to float upwards, defying gravity, pulled by the intense pressure of pure energy.

At the center of the storm's vortex, a silver-armored entity floated with absolute arrogance.

His red cape fluttered slowly. The eyes of the entity named Polypus gazed downwards, looking at the remnants of world civilization like a pile of filthy dust.

However, above a cracked and scorched building, three shadows refused to bow down.

A strong gust of wind cleared the thick smoke blocking the view, revealing the silhouettes of Irrelevant, Gampler, and Shiro.

There was no panic on their faces.

Only sharp focus and a murderous aura ready to pierce the sky.

The three peaks of humanity's strength, challenging the bringer of the apocalypse.

Shiro advanced first; he leaped and flew towards Polypus. Polypus, seeing this, felt challenged and dashed towards Shiro. The two exchanged attacks at speeds that circled the sky, accompanied by Polypus's glowing reddish aura and Shiro's white aura.

In one moment, Shiro saw an opening in Polypus. Before Polypus could launch his attack, Shiro fired, "Destroy!"

Boom!! A red energy explosion filled the sky, sending Polypus flying backward.

Shiro didn't waste any time. He unleashed "Gravitation" towards Polypus, trapping him in a gravitational vortex that rendered him immobile.

From within the energy, Polypus just stayed silent, as if bored of doing this.

Gampler, seeing her enemy trapped and motionless, channeled his energy and thoughts into his magic staff, "Meteor Rise!"

In the void, giant meteor stones suddenly formed, ready to rain down on the target.

Gampler swung her staff at Polypus. Dozens of mountain-sized meteors rained down upon the higher-dimensional creature, creating massive explosions that made ears feel like they were going to burst.

A thick smog formed from the explosions. From within the thick smoke, a yellow aura emerged, distorting space, moving faster and faster.

Polypus saw this and realized that the person was the same one he had been chasing earlier.

Crack! Boom!! Irrelevant kicked Polypus from below, causing space to shatter and making time seem to slow down. Not stopping there, Polypus, who was still airborne, was kicked again by Irrelevant from above.

Irrelevant just stood still like a statue, but suddenly an energy explosion appeared above Polypus.

Crack! Bang!! Slamming him into the ground and creating a massive crater on the Earth's surface, leaving thick smoke and shattered earth.

However, before the dust fully settled, the already cracked sky was now torn even wider. From behind the vortex of shattered clouds, something far more terrifying peeked out from another dimension.

An overflow of red energy surged from the cracks of the world.

The sky, which was initially only cracked, was now completely destroyed. From behind the gaping dimensional rift, something beyond reason forced its way in.

A pair of giant hands suddenly emerged from the void, gripping tightly onto the left and right edges of the portal, holding the tear in reality wide open.

Initially, it was just a massive dark shadow, but slowly its true form revealed itself.

At the very top of the rift, a cluster of pitch-black tentacles writhed wildly like living, struggling shadows.

Right below them, a giant single eye opened, splitting the sky. The eye did not blink. Its gaze was cold and empty, locking onto the land below as if just staring at a pile of dust.

Right beneath the giant eyeball, a curved slit slowly gaped open, displaying rows of sharp teeth grinning like a bottomless abyss ready to swallow anything.

From under that terrifying jaw, much thicker creeping vines and tentacles stretched down, writhing as they groped the Earth's atmosphere.

The creature's presence didn't just ruin the view of the sky; it also caused the air pressure to suddenly become incredibly heavy and suffocating, as if this dimension itself was slowly crumbling because it couldn't contain its true form.

The true form of Polypus radiated an incredibly massive aura of destruction that pierced through heaven and hell.

Seraphim, who was carrying out his duties, felt the aura of destruction. He quickly contacted one of the angels assigned to Earth, "!.. What is it, Azrael!"

"There's something weird in the human world," he said with a mixture of panic.

Below, the hunters, seeing the creature's true form, were actually joking around and not taking it seriously.

"What the hell is that?" said Shiro in astonishment.

"So weird," replied Gampler.

Meanwhile, Irrelevant just stayed silent, gazing at Polypus.

Shiro, feeling curious, tried to attack Polypus, "Let me try attacking, 'Saikyō no Shiraga Technique - destruction 'Destroy' + gravitation 'gravitation' Combine VOID!"

Shiro's energy ball sped forward, attempting to strike Polypus.

But...

A single black tentacle darted towards the void. The tentacle merely touched it, but the void instantly vanished as if wiped from existence.

The tentacle continued moving forward, targeting the Creator of the void.

Gampler, realizing the great danger, tried to block the tentacle by caging it in an energy iron bar, but it was useless and was destroyed in an instant.

Shiro, with his survival reflexes, managed to dodge the attack, his face panicked as he saw his world shield pierced.

However, the tentacle moved again, targeting Gampler instead of Shiro. It wasn't that Shiro had successfully dodged, but rather that the creature had done it on purpose.

In her despair, Gampler simply stood frozen as his life was about to end.

But a glimmer of hope appeared before the tentacle could reach his face. "Dimensional slash!" A slash that tore through the dimension itself appeared, cleaving and simultaneously destroying it.

From the shadows, Unknown emerged with 4 weapons floating above him.

Unknown slipped his hands into his pockets as if mocking Polypus, "hello octopus..!"
