Everything started making sense to Solanky now. He realized that the forsaken god had recognized something special within him, something that set him apart as a supreme entity. The smile from before was not just a casual gesture; it was a sign of acknowledgment from a being of immense power. It dawned on Solanky that his existence might be inextricably linked to a greater destiny. As he pondered over these revelations, the memory world they were in began to crumble. At their level of power and being, Solanky and his companions could easily dissipate their consciousness or observe multiple timelines simultaneously, with virtually no effect or burden on their mental power. However, this memory crystal ball was unique, unlike any they had encountered before. The crystal ball was an ancient artifact designed to stabilize and unify powerful entities' consciousnesses to reveal past events and hidden truths that their individual visions could not perceive. Despite their immense power, it demanded 60% of their consciousness to be fully engaged in its revelations. As the memory crystal ball crumbled, it began to dissipate into the void, and their consciousnesses returned to them. The moment they opened their eyes, they saw a gray-robed being with a golden halo hovering in the sky above them. Upon seeing this figure, they were shocked, for this was one of the main commanders of the forsaken god, one of the strongest transcendent-level beings. The gray-robed figure looked at them and smiled, then said, "You must be the one our god ordered us to wait for your arrival." He waved his arm, and then Solanky's trio was carried into the air with him, and then he teleported away from the village with them. They appeared in a distant land, which was light-years away from the village. The moment the chief saw this, he became sad, but the gray-robed figure said, "Don't worry, that continent you are on is heavily guarded by several level entities and one transcendent-level entity, so aside from the monsters within that continent, nothing can pose a threat to indigenes of your village, and besides, you can always return back once you receive a token from the army." Solanky and Elisa all asked in shock, "Venerable one, are you taking us to the royal grounds of the forsaken?" The gray-robed figure smiled and nodded, then said, "As per the request of the forsaken god, I am to drop you off in one of the surrounding towns and cities nearer to the royal grounds." So that one will suspect that you are a guest of the forsaken god, and aside from me, no other transcendent entity knows about your identity or existence in this world. It's for the best, and I will not interfere in any of your dealings as per the request of the forsaken god. They then reappeared on the outskirts of a city called Yomin, which was one of the closest to the royal city. The gray-robed figure then said, "I will leave you here. Whatever happens next is up to you to bear, but with you all reaching the requirement of becoming an army member, it is necessary to join the army to build your experience and battle with those from the beyond realm who seek to invade the infinite source space and void region." The gray-robed figure disappeared from their midst. Solanky's trio then looked forward, and what they saw left them in awe because the city before them was unlike any other city they had ever seen in the countless worlds and timelines they had visited. The city before them had its own sun, moon, and stars suspended in a circular sky above it, and one could see an 'S'-shaped engraving inside the circular sky, which seemed to divide the sun from the moon and stars. The sky rotated once every century, making a day equal to a hundred years. They moved closer to the city and saw that the city was much larger than they thought because from a distance, the city and the skies seemed to be a few million kilometers in diameter. The more they approached, the smaller their figures became, and the larger the city became. They reached the walls of the city, and before them was a huge four-winged golden-horned lion lying leisurely before the city gates. The pressure emanating from this creature told Solanky's trio that this creature was a quasi-transcendent entity, and it was at least 500,000 times stronger than an I.S.G. and five times stronger than them, and that was just a mere estimation and theory they had made since the creature was even trying to suppress its aura. They walked forward and placed their hand on the abdominal region, which was a sign of reverence and greeting, as any forsaken meeting a powerful being does to show their respect. When they did this, the creature raised its massive head to pave the way for the trio to enter the city. The moment they passed through the gates, they could see the gates behind them vanish as if they never existed, and they were replaced by a boundless body of raging oceans that extended for eternity. They then moved to a nearby cabin, which was full of travelers visiting the city for the first time. A bulky man dressed in elegant armor with a broadsword strapped behind his back walked towards them and introduced himself as a soldier of the Yomin army division, and he would like to buy them some drinks and discuss something with them. Solanky's trio agreed to his offer and followed him. As they were walking behind the bulky man, they could hear whispers from the surrounding people talking about them. With their peak entity-level strength, they could clearly hear what the others were talking about, and it revealed their curiosity about why the bulky soldier would personally invite them to join the army, as he had never invited anyone to join his squad of the Yomin army division. From the conversations and eavesdrops Solanky's trio had, they got to know that the bulky man before them was the strongest in the entire Yomin city, and he ranked among the top five strongest. Hearing this, Solanky's trio were shocked because to be ranked among the top 5 strongest in the entire Yomin city meant the bulky man before them was half a step into the transcendent level, and a single move from him could completely wipe out a peak entity-level being. The bulky man then brought them to a secluded room with countless mysterious engravings etched onto the walls and door. He then formed seals with his hand, then stepped through the door and asked Solanky's trio to follow him. The moment Solanky's trio stepped through the door, the scene around them had completely changed; they seemed to have been transported from the cabin into the heart of the army within the Yomin city. The bulky man then waved his hand, and a bubble formed around them, blocking prying eyes and eavesdropping from the outside world. He then went on to introduce himself as Commander Hanks, the leader of the Ghost Claw division of the army and the only survivor of the squad after the last invasion of the Levians over a billion samsaras ago. Commander Hanks then said, "The reason why I brought you here is that I know you are looking to join the army of Yomin City, and I am here to propose and recruit you to join my squad if you want, or you can decline; it's your call." Hearing this, Solanky, Elisa, and the chief agreed because they couldn't think of a way to immediately join the army without going through the strict screening process. Commander Hanks, hearing this, waved his hands, and the isolation bubble barrier above them dissipated. And then he laughed out heartily and said, "The ghost claw squad is up and running; now the upcoming competition won't be boring, hahaha." He waved his hands, and he teleported away with Solanky's team to the quarters of the ghost claw team. In a tent not far away from the base, where Commander Hanks and his team sat with a woman dressed in battle armor, who sat in a chair with wine in hand, she said, "Hmm, interesting. What is Hanks up to now? I can't wait to find out during the competition."
