Between doubting his uncle's abilities and remembering that, after all, he was a Lockward and one of the most powerful in the Empire, his mind seemed to reach a dead end.
"Young Lord Louis? Are you all right?" Robert asked suddenly.
Louis finally snapped out of his shock and apologized. "Oh, I'm sorry. I was engrossed in watching an interesting fight," he said.
"Haha, young people often do that, no need to apologize."
Louis nodded. "Uncle Dan..." he said carefully. "I haven't seen him recently, although we have corresponded through letters. He's fine, but it seems that family matters have kept him from going out these past few weeks; he's a busy man."
"Oh, I'm glad he's doing well then. I hope I can invite you and Mr. Dan for a drink one of these days, as I'm interested in discussing business," he said.
"Haha, although I don't usually drink alcohol, since you're the one inviting me, then I'll accept."
