Louis looked up, almost as if he saw his salvation arriving in person.
"Rebecca? It's you!" he said, smiling happily.
Rebecca was shocked by his behavior and took a few steps back. "What's wrong with you?" she asked defensively.
It was the first time he had mentioned her name without sounding disgusted... well, maybe one of the first times he had mentioned it, since he usually called her by her first name in a harsh tone.
But Louis jumped up and smiled. "I'm happy to see you!" he said cheerfully.
Rebecca took another step back and looked at him suspiciously. "Has he gone crazy? He wasn't even hit in these fights. What the hell is wrong with him? Does he like me and that's why he's happy to see me?" She quickly shook her head.
"No, no. How could I like him when he's always saying weird things to me and playing games with me? Even if I did like him, he's a jerk, I would never like him!" she thought.
