Chapter 5 - A Promise Full of Hate

With each passing day, a village was attacked. Radissa didn't use her full strength, or it would all end in an instant. A single large Ki attack would destroy everything, but she refused to let go of the opportunity to train, even if she had to hold back.

The truth was that even limiting her power by half, it was still difficult for most of them to withstand her first attack, so the battles didn't last long.

Despite each village being dozens or even hundreds of kilometers apart, Radissa could cross that distance quickly. If she used her maximum speed, she could cover ten kilometers in just one minute.

After spending a few weeks destroying village after village, she had understood a little about their culture, well, from her point of view, since she never asked about it.

'Those who wear brown are just weaklings, like normal people in general. Those who wear white are the leaders of each village; they are always very loyal to this so-called king of theirs. They are the first to try to attack me. Their powers are superior to the others, but still well below my level...'

As she thought this, before her was a pile of bodies and rubble. A small trickle of blood ran from her nose, dripping onto the ground and mixing with all the filth.

Holding one of the aliens with an outstretched arm, this one wore a blue cloak.

'This bastard probably had 900 PL or more. He was even a little stronger than me. If he had the slightest Ki training, added to all the others, maybe he would have beaten me...' She spat out a mouthful of blood and smiled.

"You're a little stronger than the village leaders, and you wear a blue cloak. What does that mean?" She tightened her grip on the Xylian's throat.

*Cough!*

The painful cough was followed by a look full of hatred. "You disgusting demon! You will meet your end when the king learns of my death, so there's no need for you to know anything!" His hoarse voice almost failed.

"Ha... Hahahaha!!" Radissa began to laugh so vigorously that the sound of it echoed through every fiber of her body.

Looking into the eyes of that Xylian, she said amidst her laughter "I've killed about 20 sons of bitches who said the same thing. Should I believe you because you're wearing blue?"

Intensifying her grip, she continued "The truth is, it matters little whether you explain it to me or not, because regardless of your answer, I'm still going to keep attacking you until I defeat the strongest of your race"

The softened body of that Xylian had no strength to break free from her grip, so his death was not long in coming, with his neck being snapped.

Radissa released the body and wiped her nose with the back of her wrist "These bastards think they can keep threatening me all the time. Even though he was the strongest I've faced, he didn't even hurt me enough for a Zenkai. At least it was a real fight, not just a stroll"

Looking at all the damage caused, she smiled and turned to leave. This time she really needed a rest before attacking the next village.

Suddenly, she felt something, and instinctively her arms rose in front of her face. Feeling a strong impact on her small arms, Radissa was thrown backward, stopping meters away in the air.

With a tense look, she stared at the figure that had appeared. It was another Xylian, and he was also wearing a blue cloak.

'Damn it, I was so focused on that idiot that I lowered my guard and didn't even notice this guy approaching' She could feel her arms still trembling from the attack she received.

The newly arrived Xylian looked at all that devastation, destroyed houses, the blood, the bodies scattered everywhere... There was no way not to notice the anger and sadness in his eyes.

"You killed them all, you cursed demon! I won't let you continue doing this kind of thing to our people. Today is the day you die!" With a quick movement, he drew a sword.

The gleaming blade had a rustic appearance but still looked very sharp. Even though blades were irrelevant to those with good Ki control, this was not the case for the Xylians.

Their best use of Ki was their ability to fly. Radissa had never seen them make a Ki attack; their blows were always physical.

So for them, a very sharp weapon would increase their ability to injure their opponent, being able to cut very easily, something the Saiyan could do without the aid of weapons.

Radissa stared at the blade warily 'If I were at my best, he wouldn't be able to make deep cuts, even if he hit me directly, but in this state, I could end up losing a limb, or even dying, if I'm careless...'

Ignoring her thoughtful silence, the Xylian advanced with all his speed. "Die!!" His sword descended towards her hair.

With a backward jump, Radissa saw the blade pass almost touching her face. As she gasped, her eyes saw strands of black hair slowly falling to the ground, her spiky bangs had not escaped the attack.

"Tch!" An enraged click came from her mouth as she touched her destroyed bangs.

Despite this, her gaze did not leave her opponent for a single second, she didn't dare to lower her guard before such a strong enemy.

'I don't have much Ki left. I won't be able to defeat him with just one attack, but dragging out the fight is an advantage for him since he's not tired. The best option would obviously be to run, but...' A half-smile appeared on her face.

Instead of retreating, she advanced. Her opponent didn't care; it made no difference to him. His only goal was to kill that demon, regardless of anything.

The Saiyan's small fist and the blade clashed, generating a powerful impact. Her Ki prevented her hand from being completely severed, but her opponent was still superior in brute strength, so a cut appeared between her fingers.

Jumping backward, Radissa glanced at her hand, seeing the blood slowly seeping out of her body. At this point, she had become quite accustomed to injuries, but the pain never ceased to exist.

Looking at the blade with her blood on it, the Saiyan gritted her teeth, then pointed at it "After I kill you, I'm going to cut you into pieces with that shitty sword!"

The Xylian didn't seem to be listening to the little girl; his rage was what guided him; there was no room to hear her threats. Without saying a word, his response was a rain of sword attacks.

The furious attacks were deflected with great difficulty by Radissa, who was clearly in a defensive position in this fight.

'His reach is much greater than mine. I won't be able to attack him while I need to dodge all his attacks. In that case...' Radissa extended her open palms forward as her body flew backward.

A rain of Ki attacks was fired, like energy balls. A huge cloud of smoke formed where that Xylian was.

The gleaming blade cut through the smoke, revealing that the alien was untouched. "Do you think these weak attacks will defeat me? I will kill you, you cursed demon!"

He was advancing to attack again, but as soon as the smoke screen dispersed, he noticed that there was no one in front of him anymore.

At that moment, Radissa was already behind him, her hands clenched tightly, and like a hammer, she struck with all her might at the nape of his neck.

The Xylian was sent flying meters away; the blow had landed squarely, with no time to react.

Despite the success, the Saiyan's expression was not good 'It was perfect, but my strength wasn't enough... Damn it...' Her breathing was becoming increasingly labored; even her thoughts were being affected by her physical state.

Her chest heaved as she watched her enemy get up. It was noticeable that her attack had made him even angrier than before. Radissa had seen these expressions hundreds of times, so even though she couldn't even differentiate females from males, she was able to identify their hatred.

Despite her terrible situation, the little girl forced a smile and said "You're all a bunch of shit... You can't even sense Ki... You only depend on your eyes... Do you still think you can get rid of me!?"

With a furious cry, the Xylian advanced once more. Despite the attack hurting him, it hadn't incapacitated him at all.

Radissa returned to a passive position. It was very difficult to attack with physical blows and use Ki attacks in her current state; it would be useless. She wouldn't be able to gather enough energy to truly hurt her opponent, and the distraction wouldn't work again.

With each attack, a new cut appeared on her clothes and also on her body, even if superficial. The armor could withstand blows, but the clothes underneath could not, so where the armor didn't cover, only tattered fabric remained.

Radissa's speed was slowly decreasing; her body was no longer keeping up with her reasoning. The cuts might be superficial, but as dozens of them appeared on her body, and with her tremendous physical exertion, the blood she was losing was becoming unsustainable.

Her vision was blurring, her left eye was almost closed because of the blood dripping from her eyebrow 'Am I going to die like this? On an unknown planet, at the hands of trash?... No!'

She gritted her teeth and then stopped dodging, ignoring her vision. She sensed his Ki to follow his attack and then grabbed the blade with both hands.

The blade sank into her skin; the pain was far less than all the adrenaline that was making her continue fighting. Holding the blade tightly, Radissa gave the Xylian a furious look.

"I swear on my soul, I won't leave this planet until I tear off your head! It doesn't matter if you try to escape, it doesn't matter if you're a coward and attack me again after I get tired, our next encounter will be the day you die!" Blood began to leak more and more from her hands until the sound of breaking metal rang out.

As half of the blade fell to the ground, the little girl opened her bloody palms and closed her eyes.

"Do you think you can escape just because you broke my sword?!" the Xylian shouted furiously and was ready to start attacking with his bare hands.

"Taiyoken!!" Radissa shouted, and at the same instant, a totally intense light was released from her body.

A cry of pain came from the alien, who covered his eyes, but it was too late; the intense light had blinded him for the next few seconds.

...

"What humiliation!!" Radissa's furious voice was followed by the enormous crash caused by her punching the ground.

She had returned to the Verdant Forest, the one she only intended to return to after defeating the strongest on the planet, but there she was, forced to hide.

"Even if I don't recognize that son of a bitch's face, I'll remember his Ki. When I recover, I'm going to kill him!" Her furious cry echoed through the forest, making the trees sway and the birds fly away.

No matter how injured she got, in the end, she never had to flee a fight; she never thought she would die, until today. She had forgotten about training, Zenkai, or even her plans; she only wanted to exterminate that being who had caused her so much anguish.
