The guests marched in, in order of decorum. Ushers presented them to their seats, and soon the banquet hall was filled. Queen Melissa marched in, followed by Kallin, then the king, carrying baby Lior and Consort Elias. Everyone sat awaiting the grand moment.
"The groom… Prince Theron Castillian of the Forgotten Court," the announcer declared, and the huge doors gave way.
Theron beamed under the delicate rose petals and shimmering chandeliers. His eyes quickly glanced around, but there was no sight of him. He forced a smile and marched forward towards the altar where the priest stood waiting.
"Here comes the bride!" Chants filled the room; laughter and congratulations echoed in the air.
Adela marched in with her mother, Minister Rebecca, holding her as she guided her way through. Adela beamed under her veil, midway towards the altar, though her veil had not crossed the door. She held tightly to Minister Rebecca.
