Zera was currently in the police station as she began to examine the evidence on the board as she looked with thought on her own face as today had been really busy with different files and records being sent inside as a couple of officers passed by. She began to try to connect the dots together and she got something about Ash Dieback and that chemical being related but truly frustrated her was the question of 'Was the same person who made the chemical is the same person who caused all of the murders?' And there she dropped the note on the desk and decided to go outside to handle her stress as she gripped her hair slightly and passed through people she known and went outside towards the rising sun as her hair swayed in the wind since it was middle of October. She went over to a cafe nearby and sat outside holding her pen in her hand. She tapped on it until the waiter came to her "Want a drink madam?" She looked up seeing a young male around 25 carrying a notepad.
"Yeah, I will have a croissant and a espresso. Not too sugared and a little more milk in it." Zera said to the waiter who nodded and began to leave afterwards. She adjusted her sitting as she grabbed her notepad and began to write on it. She soon began to move her pen across the paper as she began to make observational notes about the chemical and some fungus similarities together from searching up some famous fungal diseases on her phone before the waiter came back with the tray of food and drinks. He put down the cup of water, the coffee, napkins and the croissant before asking "You want anything more?" Zera shook her head at his question before he nodded and left completely. She began to push her chair forward as she slowly sipped her coffee as she wiped her face with the clean napkin. She started to eat while thinking.
She saw a car nearby and seemed to recognise it slightly as she got up and stopped it by putting her hand in front of it. "Are you one of those Transformers?" She asked as Wheeljack transformed out of his alt mode, his blue bulbs lighting up as he nodded. "Indeed I am, Miss! I should get back to my base however." Zera soon stopped him a little forcefully "However, I got a couple of questions if you wouldn't mind answering yourself, Wheeljack was it called?" She asked as he nodded at her question "Just make it quick. Alright?" Zera nodded as she moved away from the cafe and began to ask him "So then first question, have you seen any murders for the past week at most?" Wheeljack shook his head at the question "Nothing this week. We seen a murder two weeks ago however and they were seen near the closest desert around our base which is a good 15 kilometers away from us."
Zera looked curiously before asking "Huh, that far?" Wheeljack nodded as Zera began to analyse the locations of each murder. The desert was the farthest murder so far that she recorded as she began to look with consideration on her face. She looked away as she was distracted as Wheeljack said "Shall we continued?" Zera nodded before asking "Any crazy events that happened recently?" Wheeljack began to think in his mind for a quick moment before saying "Well in the Autobot base, not much has happened so far. Well in the outer areas we heard some more crazy events happening there. Apart from murder, we gotten a few records of other Decepitcon crimes such as robbery, assault and arson occasionally. Well we did see something like insects being burned on the ground." Zera paused at that "Insects being burned? In what way perhaps?"
"They had acidic burns all over them. Like serious ones." Wheeljack said to her before Zera nodded "One more question." She stated before asking him "Where are the rest of your folks?" She asked him as Wheeljack was hesitantly answered that "Well most of them are in base, a few are on another mission and-" Immediately a explosion came from behind Wheeljack and immediately Zera pulled out her pistol as she began to shoot in the smoke as she saw a Decepticon warrior get slightly injured by some of her shots. Zera continued to shoot carefully, not wanting to waste some of her bullets as she paused afterwards and they remained unscathed as she began to look with slight worry on her own face. She looked in surprise that her shots didn't affect the Decepticon as Wheeljack began to fight it back with force.
Immediately the Decepticon began to aim his shots with a heavy blaster as he began to shoot at them as they were both thrown back slightly. Zera gripped on a tight railing making sure she didn't fall as her lip was pulpy and was dripping blood as she wiped it while Wheeljack's left bulb got scorched by it. Zera soon off the railing as Wheeljack soon shot at the Decepticon who was getting slower but was still not dead as he shot a powerful bullet which they both attempted to dodge. It made a small crater around the trees as they finally heard people screaming nearby, but the sounds were mostly far away since they were quite far off from the main town. The Decepticon finally fell to their knees from energon dribbling down and making a slushy pond. Their hands became a cushion as the liquid fell out of them and their armour unbuckled as small bits started to fall apart one by one on the floor.
Zera looked a little distressed by what she saw while Wheeljack fixed himself up. Zera soon said "That one is gone isn't he?" As Wheeljack nodded. Zera looked stern in her gaze as she began to move across the area "Well, I think I got what I needed. I'll see you soon." She left as Wheeljack said goodbye and got a comm call from Optimus "Wheeljack, you there?" The mad scientist replied with "Yeah I'm coming back. I came across another Decepticon. But I completed my mission finally! I'll come back." He drove at high speeds in his alt mode as he began to move over. The day had gotten a lot weirder and weirder... And it didn't feel like the end of things just yet.
