As I told you, I needed time for my exam preparation, but my exam got postponed to next month. Actually, I am from India and I am preparing for a govt. job exam which got postponed to September, and I don't know whether I should write the chapter right now or next month — but next month is my exam. It's just so frustrating.
Well, I write chapters first, like plot lines in my handbook, then on my laptop. After editing and readerproof, I post it.

So Alex got informed by Ancient One that Doom is preparing for a ritual which he thinks will help her mother, but will ultimately open a portal. So Alex just told Ancient One, "Why me?" and something she told ultimately made him agree.
As he wanted to stop Doom, he could do it alone but needed Fantastic Four to be with him as to connect him with them and S.H.I.E.L.D. as his alter ego AETHEREON.
With that, they go to Latveria — AETHEREON destroying the ritual runes to stop the portal, but this results in Doom seeing him as an enemy. They fought, but after, in mid-fight, Alex uses his greatest ninjutsu, which can even make One Above All bow down. With that, Doom joins him to fight together, and with the army, they stop the demon army and close the portal completely. Susan broke up with Doom completely.
After that, they left, and Doom, knowing who was behind it all from AETHEREON, learns it is Mephisto. Now Doom's focus is on waging war against Hell itself and helping his mother's soul. AETHEREON will help. This is just a small spoiler, and the arc will end.
