Chapter 67 - In the Karaoke Bar

Toa Matsubara didn't know how to respond.

She held her kabedon stance, her face a mix of conflict and hesitation, as if she wanted to say something but couldn't. She and Muxiao were locked in a standoff, drawing curious glances from passersby. In the awkward, tense atmosphere, Muxiao was the first to raise his hands in surrender.

"Alright, alright, it's not a big deal. I was just joking—how could I actually be into that girl?" He realized yanderes were completely unreasonable. No more teasing this girl lightly. She's terrifying.

"Just kidding, Toa-san. Don't get so worked up—it's bad for your health."

Toa: "…"

Despite his words, Toa didn't relax or let go. Her arm stayed firmly planted beside him, lips pursed, her expression shifting.

Her tension was obvious, her body stiff.

"You're not planning to stay like this forever, are you?" Muxiao tugged his lips, gently pulling her arm down. "Since we're free, wanna go somewhere else? Like a karaoke bar? Bet you don't go often."

"…"

"Forget it if you don't want—"

"I'll go!"

Toa agreed instantly. Muxiao smiled, but the monster-girl beside him, though calmer, didn't bring up the Wakumaku incident. She walked in silence, clearly still brooding.

Muxiao stole glances at her enigmatic expression, muttering to himself, Wakumaku-senpai must've really shaken her up.

Compared to Natsumi, Toa was far more on edge about Wakumaku, almost paranoid.

They stepped into the karaoke bar. It must've been right after school, as the place was bustling with students coming and going. Muxiao, cloaked in a black robe and hood, stood out like a sore thumb.

Wait, a serious problem.

I have no money.

Living off Natsumi's family and the Himegami Society, Muxiao had been freeloading. Even controlling the Boyman family with his powers, he hadn't brought cash. As he considered calling Tsubaki Ryuurikawa, his gaze sharpened.

His carefree expression turned odd. He sniffed the air, his [Super Intuition] giving a vague hint. Without thinking, he walked toward a specific direction.

"What's up? Where are you going?" Toa asked, puzzled.

Muxiao didn't answer; he didn't know where he was headed, just followed his gut. He stopped at a private room's door. Toa stared at it, sniffing.

"That smell…"

"You caught it too?" At such close range, both Muxiao and Toa detected a peculiar scent. Perhaps because they were tentacle monsters, they were sensitive to this aphrodisiac that ignited primal desire.

"Looks like something interesting's happening in there," Muxiao said.

Toa's eyes lit up with realization. She smiled at Muxiao, stepped forward, and grabbed the doorknob.

Bang!

Without using tentacles, she slammed the door open with raw strength. Inside, the noise of singing and laughter mixed with the smell of alcohol under dim lights. A group of delinquent boys chuckled together, but the most striking figure was a black-haired girl, her face obscured, sprawled on the sofa, moaning unconsciously.

Though her face wasn't clear, her figure was top-tier. Muxiao's eye twitched, lingering on her exaggerated chest, unable to stay calm.

Too big!

What the hell? F? G?

Such a tiny waist with a chest that huge? Her naturally voluptuous, sensual body was the kind that attracted trouble.

She was so out of it, it couldn't just be alcohol. The air was thick with an aphrodisiac humans wouldn't notice, but Muxiao and Toa weren't human.

The delinquent boys surrounded the alluring girl, their eyes brimming with lust. Some pulled out phones to record, eager to capture what was about to unfold.

At the center was a flashy, arrogant blond youth, exuding villain vibes, reminding Muxiao of the Boyman heir.

What's with Japan and all these blondes? Another one?

"Who are you?!" Their arrival disrupted the boys' fun. A horse-faced lackey snapped, "Who let you in? I said—"

Seeing Toa, he gasped.

"Brother Anjo, another beauty!"

All eyes locked on Toa. She hadn't expected to draw attention, and noticing Muxiao's subtle expression, she considered flashing her tentacles to scare them but held back.

This feels familiar. Like when Muxiao saved Natsumi in a similar scene. But back then, Toa was the mastermind; now…

"You guys are having fun, huh?" Muxiao said, seeing the boys eye Toa with lust, oblivious to how close they were to death. Smiling, he removed his hood, revealing his face.

"Damn kid, you—" The lackey didn't finish. As Muxiao's cloak fell, tentacles slithered out, leaving the boy pale with terror.

He collapsed, trembling.

"What's wrong? We'll deal with that girl later. First, I'll enjoy this treat. Took me ages to drug her, and I can't wait to break her," Anjo said.

"Brother Anjo, a—a monster!" a lackey stammered.

"What's that thing?! Stay back!"

"What?!"

The girl on the sofa was already undressing, her uniform disheveled, her fair skin flushing pink from the aphrodisiac, her moans sultry, as if beckoning men.

No, not beckoning—she craved it. The drug was burning away her reason, turning the beautiful girl into a wanton figure.

The perfect prey was right there, but—

Something went wrong!

"What the hell is that?! Get lost! No! Let me go!" Anjo screamed.

Muxiao's tentacles wrapped around them, binding them.

He sighed. "If I hadn't come here on a whim, that girl would've been… Tsk, this anime world isn't as great as it seems."

"Speaking of which, it's my first time using this ability. Since you guys love playing, let's all play. I'm sure you can satisfy each other."

Muxiao hadn't expected his [Lustful Breath] ability to come in handy.
