Bakvik sat in his dorm room reading the rules posted on the wall He scanned the names of the various student groups until one in particular caught his eye
"The Outgoing Group What a strange name"
he muttered to himself His eyes continued to read and a shocking line made him freeze "Disappearances after leaving 19 years ago"
"I would never risk that"
he thought shaking his head
He then picked up a newspaper and read the headlines
"There's been a lot of crime lately Please everyone be careful Many homeless people have died mysteriously and no information has been found yet"
The article said the police were still investigating Bakvik sighed feeling a wave of frustration
"I guess I'll have to stay away from the news for a while"
Furious he threw the newspaper aside
"Damn this is how it's going to be"
He decided to go out for a walk and buy some bread As he took a bite he thought
"This bread is as bad as ever"
The vendor a cheerful old man smiled happily "How does it taste young man?"
Startled by the question Bakvik quickly replied "Awesome!"
The vendor stood with his arms crossed a proud grin on his face
"As expected of my favorite customer!"
Bakvik grinned back
"Yes!"
After leaving the shop he walked along a path observing the daily lives of the other students Some were reading others playing sports chatting or practicing magic
"This is a pretty amazing place huh?"
he said to himself
...His gaze then landed on the main building and he noticed someone standing on top of the Nesvan building Bakvik was instantly unnerved and quickly hurried away As he walked a single thought raced through his mind
"That guy is so scary! What does he want from me?"
On the Main Building A mysterious woman approached Nesvan on the rooftop She had long beautiful black hair a heavy gaze and reddish-pink eyes Her fashion hinted at a certain dexterity
"What are you doing up there?" she asked Nesvan
Nesvan turned to her his expression cold and lifeless
"I came to get some fresh air"
"Really?" the mysterious woman said her voice full of doubt
Nesvan sighed and didn't respond She approached and sat on the railing at the edge of the building
"Do you remember when Professor Klars gave you a mission to investigate a case in Veze City?"
she asked a sly smile on her face
"I'm telling you at first I was really annoyed with you I changed my mind after you saved everyone"
"Why do you remember?" Nesvan replied a little startled He crossed his arms and said "
I didn't realize my face looks unapproachable"
"All the underclassmen are afraid of you!"
she teased
Nesvan turned away
"Do you want to recruit a new detective?"
she asked changing the subject
Nesvan turned back to her a faint smile on his lips
"I ran into a kid with a coconut shell He entered this school without being checked"
The mysterious woman looked at him with curiosity
"I just thought that if I slashed him with my sword at high speed he might be able to dodge it"
Nesvan said
"Is that even possible?" she wondered aloud
Nesvan looked down at the building below "You can go Enda"
"How dare you chase away the boss!" Enda retorted feigning outrage With a huff she walked away
A Chance Encounter As Racquelna walked by she spotted Bakvik hiding behind a wall
"What are you doing here Bakvik?"
she asked In a panic he quickly pulled her close and covered her mouth hiding them both as a woman and her partner walked past
Racquelna's cheeks flushed bright red
"Be quiet" Bakvik whispered softly
After the couple had passed Racquelna was shocked and embarrassed
"Mr Bakvik you're the worst!"
she said her cheeks still flushed
Bakvik blushed
"I'm sorry please forgive me!"
He looked at her with wide apologetic eyes
Racquelna sighed
"It's okay"
She leaned forward slightly
"Why are you hiding from them?"
Bakvik
"I just didn't want to see them yet"
As they began to walk and talk Bakvik asked her
"What group are you in?"
Racquelna smiled softly
"I'm a nanny at an orphanage I still work with various rescue groups"
Bakvik was stunned
"An orphanage nanny?"
he thought completely shocked
"What about you Mr Bakvik?" she asked
"I haven't joined one yet"
he replied
"Oh by the way may I ask what power you have?"
Racquelna
"Yes you may I'm a healing mage"
Bakvik was shocked
"Huh? A mage!"
Racquelna looked away her expression slightly hurt Bakvik noticed and quickly grabbed her shoulder smiling confidently
"I didn't mean it like that! I meant aren't you amazing?"
he said his eyes sparkling with excitement "Can you test me? Hit me hard and heal me!"
Racquelna looked at him for a moment before a small smile appeared on her face "Excuse me" she said
She then slapped Bakvik hard on the cheek and immediately used her magic to heal the pain Bakvik grabbed his cheek and pulled it to see the effect
"That's amazing! You're incredible aren't you?"
Racquelna was both thrilled and embarrassed by his reaction
"Thank you" she said softlyThe two of them soon parted ways After saying goodbye she ran to where Enda was standing in the distance The Tease
Racquelna ran up to Enda looking incredibly cute
"I'm here senior" she said
Enda stood with her arms crossed a sly smile on her face
"You two seem so close"
she said nudging Racquelna with her shoulder and making a playful face
"Are you two dating?"
Racquelna was shocked and blushed
"No we're just friends!"
she said quickly
Enda laughed happily
"Haha I was just kidding"
