A wind blade struck, and Mai Valentine's (Harpie's Pet Dragon) immediately met it head-on, scattering the airflow with a blast from its air cannon: "You're calling me young, but you have no right to comment on my age, you stinky old man!"
"You don't know your place, daring to challenge us!"
The water cannon was nullified by flames, and Joey's (Red-Eyes Black Dragon) answered with a roar, "Do you think everyone is like you guys, Uncle?!"
"Unforgivable!"
Dark Breath collided with a Flood of Light. Kaiba's face was cold: "Useless anger. Just obediently fall before (Blue-Eyes)!"
"Die!"
"You're the ones who should die!" Flames were countered by flames. Yugi used (Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress) and (Curse of Dragon) to block the fire head's attack.
"Kneel before us!"
A mud bomb struck, but was cut by the sharp blades on (Armed Dragon). Hayato made his final declaration: "Our destiny is ours to decide!"
"Roar!"
All the Dragon-Type monsters on the field roared in unison, their presence terrifying!
However, Hayato knew very well that the lineup before them could not contend with The Big Five's incarnation — (Five-Headed Dragon).
Although (Five-Headed Dragon)'s five attacks just now were all blocked by Hayato and their monsters, that was only because it had merely spread out its five heads.
The Big Five, who, like Hayato and his companions, were entering this game for the first time and controlling (Five-Headed Dragon)'s Dragon-Type body by Tributing themselves, had no experience coordinating their attacks. That was why the previous situation occurred. Once they learned how to unleash (Five-Headed Dragon)'s full power, things would be disastrous.
But Joey didn't seem to understand the situation. After (Red-Eyes) successfully suppressed the attack of one of the heads, he then Summoned (Baby Dragon) as a sacrifice: "Alright! Press the attack!"
His two Dragon-Type monsters simultaneously aimed their attacks at (Five-Headed Dragon)'s Water Attribute head. (Red-Eyes) diverted the attack, and then (Baby Dragon) delivered a fatal blow, directly destroying the Water Attribute head—

Seemingly quite pleased with the expression on Joey's face, the Water Attribute head—Gansley—explained smugly: "(Five-Headed Dragon) is the strongest Duel Monster, designed based on the Hydra from Greek Mythology, possessing the strongest immortality in the world. Cut off one head, and two more grow back!"
"While we cannot be destroyed, you must face our powerful attacks!" the WIND Attribute head, Crump, interjected. Though he was a penguin fanatic, he suddenly found a Dragon-Type body wasn't bad either. "Die, brats!"
The Wind and Water heads began to attack in tandem. A high-pressure water blade struck; in just an instant of contact, it destroyed Mai Valentine's (Harpie's Pet Dragon), and then assailed Mai Valentine and Mokuba, who were being protected by it!
"Danger!" At this moment, Hayato, Yugi, and Kaiba's three monsters were all tied up by the other heads. Joey realized that only his (Red-Eyes) could intervene in time to help Mai Valentine and Mokuba.
But at the same time, Joey also noticed that his Life Points were already running low.
Since entering the DM Online Game, everyone started with 4000 Life Points. However, unlike the Life Points that reset at the start of each Duel, these 4000 Life Points would not recover at the end of a Battle. Having gone through so many Battles before, plus the damage from (Baby Dragon) being destroyed just now, if he took this attack, Joey's own Life Points would very likely be reduced to zero.
Though his heart feared the unknown consequences of his Life Points hitting zero, Joey's body acted without thinking. Blocking in front of Mai Valentine and Mokuba, he shouted loudly: "(Red-Eyes)!"
Completely synchronized with its controller's movements, (Red-Eyes) blocked in front of the incoming water blade, taking its full power.
Mai Valentine, standing behind Joey, looked at the back that was blocking in front of her, slightly stunned.
His body slightly hunched over from pain, Joey sighed and looked at Mai Valentine behind him: "You, don't act tough."
"You're the one acting tough, aren't you?" Mai Valentine subconsciously wanted to retort, but found she couldn't speak at all.
"Joey!" Joey heard Yugi calling him, but regretfully, when he turned his head, he no longer had the strength to speak. Looking at Yugi's worried gaze, he gave a bitter smile, and simply raised a thumb.
'Sorry, everyone, I might have to rest for a bit first. The rest is up to you all.'
Just like Aierlu dissipated in Yugi's hand, Joey's body dissolved into golden specks of light.
"Damn it!" The rage in Hayato's heart could no longer be appeased. He once again Summoned a monster from his Deck: "Go, (Gaia)! Ride Yugi's (Curse of Dragon)!"
Carrying its master's wrath, (Dragon Knight Gaia)'s lance, under the cover of (Armed Dragon LV10), destroyed the WIND Attribute head.
"That Joey!" Joey's death, and Mokuba almost being attacked, these two events filled Kaiba with wrath. Imitating Hayato, he Summoned both remaining (Blue-Eyes) from his Deck and Activated (Polymerization).
The previously invincible (Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon), as soon as it appeared, launched three 'Burst Stream of Destruction' blasts towards the Water Attribute head.
However, just like what happened with Joey earlier, even though more than half its body was shattered, in just the blink of an eye, (Five-Headed Dragon) regained its original form, completely unharmed.
"That's it, Seto Kaiba! That angry expression, that expression wishing to destroy us!"
"But it's still not enough! Such an expression alone isn't enough to unleash the hatred in our hearts!"
"Try to get angrier, Seto Kaiba!"
While Hayato and Kaiba focused their attacks on the other two heads, the remaining three heads fully locked onto Mokuba, and a stream of lava flew towards him. Yugi tried to use (Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress) for defense, but it was a futile effort; the endless intense heat engulfed Mokuba's location.
However, before the lava hit, Mai Valentine threw Mokuba away from there, taking the direct attack herself.
"This game is really unkind to hair, isn't it?" Dissipating into particles, Mai Valentine looked at the (Five-Headed Dragon) ahead: "Hey, Yugi, Hayato! Avenge Joey and me!"
"Mai!"
As his companions sacrificed themselves one after another, Yami Yugi's face was filled with coldness, staring directly at (Five-Headed Dragon): "Wantonly taking others' lives, you few scumbags!"
"Heh heh, in this world, we are the rule!" the once again resurrected (Five-Headed Dragon) said arrogantly after being annihilated by (Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon)'s attack. Yugi and his companions' torrential attacks only resulted in (Five-Headed Dragon)'s resurrection again and again, and as the number of times increased, The Big Five became increasingly adept at using this body.
No longer suppressing the rage in his heart, Yugi's face turned grim, and he activated the card in his hand: "Then, I'll defeat you with this world's rules!"
"(Chaos Ritual)! Let (Gaia) become the legendary Warrior!"
"Then, I'll fuse the (Black Luster Soldier) and (Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon) on the field!"
Kaiba was both shocked and furious, turning to look at Yugi: "What?! You bastard, how dare you use my (Blue-Eyes)?!"
Hayato had the same expression: "What?! You Tributed my soul for what?!"
But The Big Five's controlled (Five-Headed Dragon), looking at the (Black Luster Soldier) riding (Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon), revealed an expression of surprise: "No, impossible, what is that monster?!"
"That level of oppressive presence, that threat of death!?"
"(Five-Headed Dragon) should not be destroyed by DARK, Earth, Water, Fire, or WIND Attribute monsters!"
"Our plan should have no oversights!"
"We're dead, we're completely dead!"
The hero from beyond the mountains will defeat the Demonic Dragon that rules the world. In accordance with this legend, (Ultimate Dragon Knight) appeared.
"(Ultimate Dragon Knight) is a legendary hero! He will inherit everything from his companions and defeat the fiend dragon!" Yugi looked at The Big Five, who were showing their true ugly colors, and without any mercy, he waved his hand and commanded, "Every Dragon-Type monster on my field will increase (Ultimate Dragon Knight)'s ATK by 500!"
"Finishing Move! Dragon Ascent Blade!"
The hero standing atop the Ultimate White Dragon raised his sword. Watching the immense power gathering upon it, and with single-minded focus, he swung the sword in his hand.
A dazzling slash, severing all creation.
After that sword strike, which seemed to cleave the world apart, (Five-Headed Dragon) and the surrounding space instantly turned to ashes and dissipated. Yugi, Hayato, Kaiba, and Mokuba, all four of them, fell downwards.
(Author's note: My writing ability is insufficient; I couldn't make this part interesting, I guess. Anyway, this chapter marks the end of the DM World arc.)
