I did not attack and stood in the same stance waiting for Noin to attack.

Seeing me not move, she just gave me a smirk and rushed at me, a straightforward overhead strike, I was not able to see her attack, only sensing it using my spatial skill, I instantly moved back two steps and brought the wooden sword horizontally in front of me to block her attack.

For a moment, Noin felt surprised seeing Light react to her attack and bring up his sword to block her attack. Even if she was not using her full strength, Light being able to successfully anticipate her attack and trying to block it was astonishing.

After all it is not everyday you see a normal person reading a Level 2 or Level 3 adventurers attack.

Cancelling her attack, Noin turned the overhead strike to a thrust aimed at Light's abdomen, in a single moment without giving Light any time to counter her attack.

Just as I was ready to follow up after blocking Noin's overhead strike, I felt her sword change it's path, but my reaction speed was not sharp enough to block her attack.

I could only look on as the wooden sword came to a stop in front of my front of chest, and let out a sigh of relief.

Just as the strength left my body and relaxed for a moment, and I thought of thanking Noin for sparring me, the wooden sword still in front of me shoved at me, making me fall down.

"Hahahaha" Looking at Noin, who was laughing see me fallen down, I felt like a fool for thinking about thanking her.

But maybe a sole positive thing her was was I did not feel fatigue or tiredness from the sword moments, it's just my hp points going down by 1 or 2 points. The pain was another thing.

Now there was a clear path in my mind, 'I can sense the attacks from a Level 4, but I am not able to respond, now I just have to increase my stats and I could easily block or even strike back.'

"Light, you can still stand no? Or don't tell me you went down from just a touch from me?" she started to taunt me interrupting my thoughts.

'Noin, enjoy your sweet time now, once I grow stronger I'll also give you training classes. This is just getting experience, this is just getting experience.' I stood up, and faced her thinking to myself.

"Noin don't worry, I'll definitely land a hit on you." I once got into the basic stance and taunted her.

...

The main hall of the Stardust Garden had a huge window which faced directly towards the garden, one could take in the view of the entire garden just by standing near the window, and now a girl with light brown hair, styled in two braids was looking at the one sided beat down happening in the field.

Lyana Leitz was almost able to feel the pain of the golden haired boy just by seeing him being hit by Noin, she had been watching the two of them go at each other for almost 15 minutes now and wanted to go and stop it but was not sure why they were fighting? or sparring? both of them seemed a bit calm for it be a fight, and while looking at them, she also marveled the ability of the boy to get back up so easily, it was definitely not possible for her to get back up in such a short time.

While continuing watching, and not able to decide what to do, she felt a few a few people entering through the door and looking towards the entrance immediately spotted the red hair of her captain, Alize along with the others who had just come back from the guild, and felt like she had found a lifeline.

"Captain, quick come here, I'm not sure what to do." Lyana signaled Alize to come to the window wanting to show here the fight and what to do.

"Don't worry my dear Lyana-chan, this beautiful and charming girl will solve all your problems, He-hem?" Alize move towards Lyana with the rest following behind her, still with a smile on her face and her signature laugh but looking through the window and into the field, her laughter died down showing a puzzled expression.

Alize was quickly able to judge that Noin was way stronger than her opponent, but for a second not sure why she was fighting against the boy. Then as if thought of something she made a clapping gesture bringing both her hands together in front of her. This brought the attention of all the girls behind her towards her.

"I absolutely don't know the reason why they're fighting." Making everyone facepalm, "Ahem, I think they're just sparring?" But went silent towards the end when the boy once again fell on the ground.

"No, it's simple, Noin's finally lost her marbles" Lyra, the pallum standing behind Alize commented.

"No, you idiots, the first thing is to stop them here and not guess the reason" the black haired beauty, Kaguya standing next to Lyra spoke out in an exasperated tone.

After all, they were standing there watching someone being beaten down and were discussing the reason for the fight, instead of stopping it.

The blond haired elf, Leon had already rushed towards the first floor staircase by the time Kaguya had reminded them about stopping the fight.

In a few dozen seconds, Leon reaching the garden immediately threw herself in between Light and Noin, or more like stopping Noin's attack from hitting Light by blocking Noin's sword with her own.

Light POV

...

I was feeling good, no not good, but being able to stand even after being hit by Noin's attacks, even if it was not her full power, at least now, I was able to endure them.

I could immediately recognize the reason for that, my health converted to hp points, and my Gamer's Body Skill which helped me adapt to Noin's speed and attacks and finally my spatial sense skill. I was still not able to completely defend against her attacks but at least easily react to it from her slight movements or changes in her sword.

I was sure that my proficiency in the skill had gone up.

This was the reason for me to take beatings from Noin even if I had no chance of attacking her, maybe I could have attacked her or landed at least a single hit on her if I used my acceleration and magic, but this was just a spar, and a good chance to learn from a Level 4, not a life and death match.

Damn for no reason I felt like hitting a white haired red-eyed person just now.

Just as I got up from being knocked down once again and wanted to try using my skills and try attacking based on the hints from my sense skill, someone came in between us blocking Noin's sword.

I could only stare in wonder, not even able to react to the newcomer's speed, even through my sense skill, they was just a blur.

...

I was sitting on a sofa in the Stardust's main hall, sitting next to me was Noin, standing in front of me were the members of the Astraea Family.

The person who jumped in between our fight was Leon, the elf standing next to Alize Lovell, who was curiously staring at Noin.

"So Noin, why were you beating up this person here, did he do something?"

"Captain, it's just a misunderstanding, I was just beat..., ahem, sparing with him. He's my friend and recently became an adventurer so I was just giving him some training so that he can be safe in the dungeon."

Noin was trying to excuse her way out, she too had known that her 'sparring' was harsh, but what was going in her mind when she decided to spar was to make Light take a rest for 2 days and meet her on Saturday, which they had decided for the training.

If possible she could personally take him to the dungeon and explain her accumulated knowledge about the dungeon and see how he would fare in the dungeon.

Based on that, she would make his future training, after all, many adventurers go down into the dungeon, but not many come back up safely and there was still the looming threat of the Evilus, although reduced.

And she had seen too many deaths, she did not want to part with him and also maybe there was some part of her angry about him going to the dungeon without informing her.

"Is that so", Alize then turned toward me, "Hello, my name is Alize Lovell, and you are?"

"Hello, my name is Light, I am a new adventurer, nice to meet you" I gave a small intro about myself while nodding towards the red haired girl standing in front of me. "And also, as Noin said we were just sparring and I was the one who asked her to train me, which is why you saw that spectacle."

Rubbing the back of my head I tried to help Noin out, even if she had been a bit harsh in 'sparring' with me, that was a separate matter between us, no need to drag her familia members into it.

After I cleared the confusion, the rest of the familia members behind Alize spread out, going about their work? or some to rest? Their interest dying.

After exchanging a few more pleasantries with Alize and saying my good bye to Noin, I left the Stardust with Noin showing me the way to the door.
