Cielo Bianci darted right to his bed and jumped on it, face down, his flushed face hidden in his pillow, his precious book discarded to the side.
Before he could even recover, there was a knock on the door, startling him upright.
The door opened and his older sister poked her head in, an expectant expression on her face.
"Were you sleeping?" She whispered, looking like she would like to duck outside.
Cielo nearly about took the bone handed to him but he never did well with lying to Luna. "No, I just got back from the library." He replied instead, sitting up on his bed.
Luna stepped in then, a smile of relief on her face that she hadn't interrupted his sleep. "What a pleasant coincidence? I was just about to invite you for lunch."
Cielo panicked quietly as his sister came closer, he was terrible at lying to her but he wanted to keep his encounter with Luka a secret… he wasn't even sure why.
