Cecilia didn't know how long she'd been stuck in the cabin with no way out. Every day, only Damian visited her, and he would leave once he'd made sure she was eating well. The same routine continued for several days. Just when Cecilia felt like she was about to lose her mind, she heard the crew's shouts announcing their arrival at the port of the Landis Kingdom.
"Cecilia."
Damian arrived shortly after the shouts subsided. This time, behind him, stood Sir Lenton. The Landis knight refused to look at Cecilia. But he remained there to ensure she wouldn't try to kill Damian as she was being taken off the ship.
"You may have heard it from the shouts of the noisy crowd outside. But we're almost at Landis, Cecilia."
Damian paused when he saw Cecilia struggling, as he kept forcing her to take the drug that was drastically draining her strength. Cecilia glared at him. But under the influence of the drug, she couldn't even curse him properly.
