About a year has passed since sunny returned to the past due to the mercy of some omnipotent cosmic being and acquired the" Divine System" like some webtoon protagonist
Sunny had many questions about the being that send him to the past but a one point he stopped thinking about it altogether. If that being is really as powerful as the system claims the Sunny really can't do anything about, a being like that would be able to erase Sunny's existence with mere thought if they had any ill intentions towards him, so Sunny had already came terms with his new reality
Over the past year sunny has changed a lot , no changes would be an understatement it was like he had gone through an evolution, his growth was abnormal to say the least, being influenced by the effects of the system
He was not the scrawny little kid he once was, the first noticable difference was his height.Sunny was significantly taller than he ever was in his previous life , Sunny was now standing at 175 cm tall, not a very impressive height but it was enough for sunny who was short throughout his whole life, he has graduated from being LOST FROM HEIG...Ahem!
His body was also in peak physical condition humanly possible. His body was lithe and yet muscular at the same time , his facial features has also become a more refined and sharp, his skin was pale free of any blemishes, it could be said that he was attractive although still not quite the jade beauty he one was
Sunny was currently sitting on his makeshift bed inside his rundown shack , eating the last meal he had received after completing the daily quest, after he reached level 10 the system stopped giving daily task and it looks like his level was stuck at 10
In the past year he had maxed out his stats either by doing exercise given in the daily quest or by stat point received from leveling up , while eating his food he took a quick glance at his status

Apparently it looks like 10 is the limit for a mundane human and the only way sunny can think about how to go past it is ,to become an 'awakened'
Over the past year Sunny had practiced with sword almost every day for several hours even after completing the systems missing
Although sunny knew countless battle arts and sword styles but all that information was in his head only and his body was not accustomed to use them, so in order to used them efficiently he had been tampering his body by practicing different sword styles and battle arts over the past year
Today was the day he was supposed to be infected by the nightmare spell, and not long after the noon he started to feel dizzy, but Sunny did not panic this time, he know what was coming his way. Slowly a wide grin formed on Sunny's face which he failed to nice himself
"This time I am going to blast through the first nightmare"

Sunny was now standing in front of the police station,inside a tired looking police officer looked at him and asked in a tired voice
Sunny scratched the back of his head and said
"As demanded by the Third Special Directive, I am here to surrender myself as a carrier of the Nightmare Spell."
The officer's expression instantly changed from irritated to wary. He looked the young man over once again, this time with piercing intensity.
"Are you sure you are infected? When did you start showing symptoms?"
Sunny shrugged.
"A week ago?"
The officer became visibly paler.
"Shit."
Then, with a hurried motion, he pressed a button on his terminal and bellowed:
"Attention! Code Black in the lobby! I repeat! CODE BLACK!"

Sunny was immediately taken to the armoured bunker of the police station and was strapped to metal bed, then a officer started to explain him about the nightmare spell but he didn't pay attention to it as he already knows what was coming
Soon the darkness fell over sunny as fell unconscious
And then, in the darkness, a familiar voice rang:

As sunny woke up in the nightmare a very familiar scene greeted him, the same chilling cold of the mountain, the very familiar slave carvan, as he was observing his surroundings, a very familiar metallic ring sounded in his head

As sunny was reading the details of the quest, his eyes were focused on the reward
'does this I can get rid of the Shadow bond'
Sunny was very elated at the idea of getting rid of shadow bond without erasing his existence, as he was thinking that he felt a tug on his hand and he tripped, the shifty guy behind him screamed
"Whore's bastard! watch where you are going !"
I glance at him with a piercing glare and he flinched, sunny didn't said anything to him as he would soon meet his fate
The slave carvan continued on its path until it eventually stop to rest for the night, from then on every thing went according to Sunny's plan
He took out the dormant beasts and with the help of shifty and scholar they pushed the wagon down which pulled the mountain king down the cliff. Making him fall into the darkness.
Sunny knew it wasn't over and started preparing for his next step of the plan. This time he used a more poisonous berries in Hero's flagon.
Then he killed the dying soldier and got silver bell.
After the 3rd nightmare Sunny lost all connection to the spell. So hearing it now was refreshing to him especially when he got the silver bell. That even before the regression he still held on to it.
Later, everything went like how the his first time was. They continued their journey to the temple. With Shifty being the first one to die. Scholar then followed the same fate but he was killed by Hero.
Sunny and Hero then camp at a cave.Hero showed signs of exhaustion and tiredness. It seems like the poison started taking effects.
Later then Hero tried killing Sunny like the first time. But this time Sunny saw the best way to kill Hero is while him trying to Sunny in his sleep.
"You know, its strange. Usually, I can feel someone's presence even in absolute darkness. But with you, there's nothing. It's like you are just one of the shadows."
With only silence to answer him, he smiled.
"Are you asleep?"
Sunny kept silent as he sensed Hero's shadow getting up. Walking towards his body.
As his shadow was growing bigger and closer, Hero said:
"I don't expect you to forgive me. This sin, too, will be mine to bear. But, please, if you can... find it in your heart to understand. If things were different, I would have gladly faced that monster to let you escape. But my life... does not belong to me alone. There is an unencompassable duty I am sworn to fulfill. Until it's done, I cannot allow myself to die."
Hero stood infront of Sunny's body. He raised his high. Wanting to give him a merciful death.
When he launched his sword down. Sunny quickly got up and launched towards Hero's face while avoiding his sword. He then stabbed a dagger he got from a dying soldier in Hero's throat.
Hero looked at Sunny with horror in his eyes. Hero saw Sunny's eyes. It was the eyes of a warrior who fought and killed many people.
He felt like the darkness in his eyes could swallow him whole. Then he whispered in horror:
"What.... are you?"
This was his last words before Sunny cut his head off

After a while it seemed like he didn't get any memory. But Sunny quickly got to work and ran to the temple. He used the bell to give him sometime to escape from the tyrant.
Sunny kept running and running. Although he was he was experienced and armed with his knowledge. His body was still top weak. But Sunny got used to the pain.
After what seemed like eternity Sunny finally saw the temple. Unlike first time. His body wasn't as injured as when got to the temple in his first time.
So he gave a moment to look around the temple. He saw thousands of bones scattered around the temple. Belonged to both humans and monsters.
There, he sensed the invisible guardian examining him. Then, he moved to the side, letting Sunny pass.
Sunny wasted no time and walked to the alter as he started to hear the mountain king coming closer. Without wasting a second he used the dagger to make cut in in his palm. Making his blood flow through the cut and fall on the altar.

As his nightmare ended, he hear the voice of the system, notifying him about the completion of the quest

Sunny found himself back again the familiar space between dream and reality.
Sunny looked at the complex strings that form the spell. Still amazed by its Beaty and it's complexity.
'Would I be able to make something this complex in the future.'
Sunny thought to himself as he was still amazed by the view. Until the spell voice cut his thoughts.
