That was the thought sunny was having while walking in the desolate place of dream releam alone because nobody was left alive, everyone, every human , every sane being had succumbed to corruption
When sunny and nephis went to the tomb of Ariel again to get his fate back from the viel thieving bird but the faced a major problem, that cursed abomination was too strong for a cursed terror , he would not have been able to escape that thing if not for Nephis making a last ditch effort to make a way for them to escape, but as if the fate was mocking him, thing didn't go well for Nephis , her last word were still fresh in his memory
'please go sunny , I need you to survive ' that was the last thing he ever heard from her before a sea of flames consumed her and the cursed terror alike
After that incident everything started to crumble like shattered glass , the corruption become too strong for the humanity's, waves and waves of nightmare creator started to pour out from various parts of the dream releam , soon their forces started to overwhelmey by the amount of nightmare creatures attacking them. This all happened while sunny failed to become sacred without the nightmare spell, sunny saw everyone died in front of him , his friend effie,kai , Cassie and even his sister and he was not able to do anything about it
"'Damn , i-if only i would have been stronger" sunny said barely above a whisper while tears rolling down his cheeks. Sunny falls to his knees a started to cry his heart out for the first time in a very long time
' do I even have a reason to continue living my life , everyone I know is dead my friend, my comrade, my family, everyone is dead' sunny thought while crying
He thought of ending his miserable life multiple time but every time he tried to do so Nephis last words started to come to his mind , he started to remember her sacrifice, so sunny continued to fight, fight for the sake of everybody who had fought with him, for those who once were his comrades and friends, but everybody has a breaking point and sunny eventually reached his as years passed
After crying his heart out Sunny was contemplating what to do next while laying on the ground, when he suddenly heard a metalic sound

Sunny was startled as he quickly got into a fighting stance while searching for the source of the sound, and then his saw a strange trancelucent blue screen hovering in front of his eyest with text on it
Sunny stared at the screen for a long time before dismissing it entirely as his imagination
'Great , now I have gone crazy from all those years that I have started to see things' sunny thought as he started to continue on his journey which has no real destination
Sunny travelled for few hour while slaying great abomination here and there , but the strange blue screen was still following him
'stange, it's still here ' sunny thought with a deep frown on his beautiful face and decided to take a closer look at the text written on it

When sunny woke up he found himself in a small room with a few pieces of furniture in it, when sunny saw the room a strange sense of familiarity washed over him and his mind went into an overdrive. The room was very familiar to sunny because it was the room sunny has spent his childhood when he used to live in the outskirts of NQSC
Sunny quickly tried to stand up from the make shift bed but he tripped and fell from the bed, it was then sunny realised that something was wrong with his body, his body felt weak and crappy, like there is no energy in him, sunny then started to check out his body and then another shocking discovery dawned on him . His was body was that of a unawakened sunny when he used to live in the outskirts. Sunny then tried using his powers but the shadow does not responded to his call , it was as if his connection was cut off from his source element. Panic started to fill sunny heart as tried to make sense of his situation
'no no no this cannot be true, I must be dreaming, no this have to be a dream' sunny thought while holding his head in his hands, but then suddenly he head a metalic sound

A blue trancelucent screen appeared in front of sunny with text saying

'Huh, w-what is this, what system ' sunny thought while looking alt the screen, but then new text appeared on the screen

sunny thought, according to his knowledge and experience no being should be powerful enough to turn back the flow of time
'is this entity more powerful than the seven gods or he/she exists in another plane of existence and what's with this system thing, am I some webtoon protagonist now?' sunny had many questions but set them aside for now and immediately rushed outside to check some thing
When he came out of his rundown shack, his eyes went wide and tears started to roll down his pale white skin of his face
There he saw people of outskirts going on their everyday life as usual, a sense of relief and determination filled his heart as he saw the people roaming the streets of outskirts, relief that it was not some kind of dream or false hope an determination to save these people from their impending doom

Now sunny was sitting on his make shift bed
While looking at the strange trancelucent screen in front of him, after experimenting with it for some time sunny found many things about it
1: He can open or close it by just thinking about it
2: It can show his stats similar to the nightmare spell although in much more details
3: the system can make his progression faster and can grant him reward, but the only condition is he has to complete quest provyby the system
4: the quest can only be triggered by fulfilling specific conditions or certain events
5: And it seems like he have been sent one year before his first nightmare to the past'
Now Sunny was looking at status and only one thing came to his mind 'trash, utter and complete trash' , he was really too weak when he used to live in the outskirts skirts

It was not particularly a thought workout but with a body like his it will be a one hell of a challenge for him to complete, but the reward was rather tempting for him and one thing he need the most now is nourishment for his body and the nasty synthpaste was not going to provide him that, so Sunny was not really left with many options except completing the quest

Sunny has completed all the task on the quest and now he was practicing with his sorry excuse for a sword made out of carved wood, beads of sweat was running down his forehead and his whole body was covered in sweat, his whole body was begging him to stop as he was hurting all over but sunny continued his sword practice while ignoring the pain until a notification sound made him stop

inventory was a another function of the system which let him store things in it, Sunny thought about the reward he received and willed it to appear in his hands and soon a food container filled with food appeared in his hands , sunny grinned and greedy started to devour the food, sunny was feeling really hungry after all the work out and this food was really a blessing at the time for him
After eating the door sunny stood up , he had a look on his face that was filled with determination and resolve
" This time I am going to save everyone, but for that I have to grow stronger, stronger than I ever was and I need to do it fast "
