The press conference room buzzed with tension. Reporters, board members, and curious eyes filled every seat. Sophia stood at the podium, elegant and unreadable in her sleek black suit. Her heart was a war drum behind her calm exterior.
Cameras flashed. Microphones leaned in.
She began, voice steady. "Good morning. I know many of you have questions—about me, my company, and the rumors."
A hushed silence swept over the room.
"I am Sophia . I built this company. I raised my son alone. And I don't owe anyone an explanation for that."
Someone whispered, "Is it true Sebastian Clarke filed for custody of your child?"
