Sebastian sat alone in his luxurious penthouse, watching an old video on repeat.
Sophia—dressed in a crisp white suit, commanding an office full of board members—delivered a powerful speech about ambition and legacy. Her confidence, her elegance, her fire… it haunted him.
He paused the video on a frame where she turned slightly, smiling at something off-camera. That smile—meant for someone else—burned him.
"She was mine," he whispered.
He poured another drink, pacing. The deal that had gone wrong, the divorce papers, the child she never told him about—it all stacked like sharp edges in his mind.
"She humiliated me. Chose a doctor over me".
Sebastian had never been the type to lose. His family bought power, demanded respect. And now, even after all this time, people still whispered Sophia's name louder than his.
"No one ignores me, Sophia. Not even you."

Sophia stared at herself in the mirror, disguising her pain behind power. Adrian entered the room with a small device.
"This tracker will help. If Sebastian touches you again—physically, verbally—I'll know."
She nodded. "I'm ready."
Adrian stepped closer, his voice softer now. "We'll get Ethan back. But promise me, Sophia… don't lose yourself in this."
She looked at him, tears shining but unshed. "I already have. Now all that's left is a mother who will destroy the world if it means saving her son."
Outside, the storm clouds gathered.
And somewhere in a hidden place, Sebastian smiled as he held Ethan's toy in his hand, whispering:
