Contrary to his intimidating look, the man's face suddenly revealed a small smile.

"Hello miss..." He drawled and hearing such a deeply masculine voice for the first time made Jasmine feel a chill up her spine.
Anne quickly recovered and made a hurried introduction.
"This is Jasmine Kent, my best friend. And Jass this is..." Anne subconsciously hesitated, but fearing Jasmine would pick up on the slightest hint Anne quickly completed, "Andrew Sterling, my fiance."
Saying that word was so foreign, so unbelievable even to Anne's ears that she hoped Jasmine wouldn't pick up the fact that it sounded so strange on her lips. She had called this cold, arrogant man her fiance. Somehow Anne felt she shouldn't address him as such since the impending wedding between them was fake. But in order to make jasmine believe, she had to address him as that.
