I woke up on a sandy beach. Looking around, there was beach on either side of me. In front of me were plains; I could actually see the other side of the island. Behind me was an endless expanse of ocean.
After standing there wondering what to do on this island with nothing on it, the screen appeared in front of me again.
[There seems to have been a mistake on our part calculating where you would be. We are sorry, host.]
It changed again, this time saying:
[Due to the error on our part, we are going to give you some items to help your survival while you wait and hope for someone to find you.]
A pile of stuff landed in the center of the island as a simple shack materialized next to the pile. I walked over to the shack and opened the door. In the room was a bed in the right corner and, opposite it, a wood oven. After looking in the shack, I went and looked through the pile of stuff.
In the pile of stuff was a hoe, seeds, a couple of scrolls, some wood, and what looked like a water purifier. I grabbed the scrolls to inspect them. On the scrolls was some weird language and a circle with a star in it. The screen appeared in front of me, explaining this was a magic scroll. I looked at it again, this time with the chip activated to memorize it so I could recreate it later on.
Walking over to the other side of the island, I ripped the scroll in half, like the screen said I needed to. After being ripped in half, the scrolls turned to dust and were blown out of my hands. Where the dust hit the ground, it started to glow, and a lake appeared in front of me. I walked next to the lake and sat down in the lotus position to see if it worked here.
As I breathed as instructed in the book, something began to gather in my lungs. After this, it went to my heart and then entered my blood cells. I could feel it entering my cells; it felt as if they were being ripped apart and put back together without a care in the world. This pain went on, and when it finally stopped, I opened my eyes, and the sun was rising.
I got up and walked to the house to sleep on the bed and noticed there was a black circle around me. Looking down at my body, I found there was black stuff on my body too. I decided I needed to clean myself before I went and lay down. I got undressed and walked into the lake to clean myself.
Coming out of the lake, I noticed that I felt lighter and looked more athletic. I grabbed my clothes, which, being the latest cloth, had already cleaned themselves. After I finished putting them on, I walked over to the cabin. I lay in the bed and wondered how I was supposed to survive on this island with the limited resources I had and how long I would be stuck here. After a bit of this, I drifted off to sleep.
I woke up as the sun was setting. I walked out of the shack and looked around; there was still no one here. I walked over to the pile and grabbed the hoe and went to hoe some of the island. After doing this all night, I looked back at my work and noticed it was done terribly and wasn't even straight. I just accepted it was bad and grabbed the bag. Holding the bag, I walked around, sprinkling the seeds, not knowing if this was correct at all.
I was still breathing as the book instructed and didn't know until the BM started buzzing. As I looked at the screen displaying my heart rate on the back of my wrist, I swiped right on it and clicked the notification button.
There was a notification: "Your breathing has been abnormal for the last 48 hours." After seeing this, I realized I was breathing like the book instructed me to.
I walked over to the pile and grabbed another scroll. Walking over to the beach this time, I ripped it apart. With it turning to dust and spreading out like last time, another blinding light appeared again, and as it faded away, a dock appeared. A barrel with a fishing pole in it was at the end of the dock.
I walked over to the barrel and grabbed a fishing pole. Casting the line into the sea like the people did it in the shows, I sat there for hours before I got bored reeling in the line.
