Chapter 166 - Chapter 166: Dorma Anim

Cooper POV

Dashing across the debris-littered ground, I sprinted towards Faust with a heart full of rage; no one who harmed my angel would be allowed to live. "FAUST!" Shouting into the air, I leaped into the sky, heading right for the magical Gundam robot.

"Eh, big bro!" "Huh, where've you been, big bro?" Crash landing between Natsu and Gajeel, I briefly glanced at them before shifting my gaze to the enemy. "You three, stand down, I'm going to tear that thing apart!" "Eh, you can't just interfere, big bro; this is our battle!" Shooting Natsu an intense glare, he flinched and awkwardly coughed before averting his gaze.

"Who are you? Are you a dragon slayer as well?" Hearing the voice coming from the Gundam suit, I growled in response, charging towards him. "I'm your grim reaper!" Leaping towards him, Faust laughs, just standing still, not even bothering to react. "Haha, go ahead, die to my Dorma Anim!" "Thanks!"

Grinning, I arrived directly before his face; clenching my fist, I reeled my arm back and shot it forward, bringing his laughter to an immediate halt as his face crunched inwards. If it were a human face and not a Gundam robot, the person would've become recognizable; the Gundam was forced several steps back while I landed on the ground.

"W-What!? H-How!? H-How'd you do that!? D-Dorma Anim, i-it's invincible against magic!" Hearing his shouts of disbelief, I snorted and lunged at him once more; with his composure having been shattered, it wasn't right to call what I did to him a fight. I was simply dismantling him.

"Die! Die Fucker! Die!" Standing atop the wrecked Dorma Anim, Cooper tore through it, pummeling it with unrestrained violence. In the near distance, Natsu, Gajeel, and Wendy watched the scene unfold, each with a different expression.

"So much for being invincible to magic." Snickering in amusement, Gajeel smirked and folded his arms, finding the scene joyful. "Aww man, I wanted to fight him a bit longer." Pouting in disappointment, Natsu squatted, drawing circles in the ground with his fingers, occasionally glancing up at Cooper.

"Um, i-is big bro fine? He looks very badly injured." A bit uncomfortable from the sheer violence Cooper was displaying, Wendy looked at him in concern, noting his various wounds and bloody body. "Meh, he's fine." Raising an eyebrow, Gajeel shrugged his shoulder, earning him a hesitant look from Wendy. "A-Are you sure?" "Probably. If something happens, you can just heal him." "I-I suppose."

"HAHAHA, DIE! I'LL KILL YOU! DIE, DIE, DIE, DIE!"

Cooper POV

Having torn the Gundam to absolute shreds until it was basically a pile of scrap metal, I thrust my hands into the chest cavity, prying it open, revealing the cockpit, where Faust was sitting, staring at me with a terrified expression. "N-No! P-Please! S-Spare me! B-Beast! D-Don't touch me, you Beast! AHHH!"

Consumed by madness and terror, Faust's eyes rolled into the back of his head while his body relaxed, causing me to spit on him as he pissed himself. "Disgusting." Grabbing the old man by his collar, I lifted him from the cockpit, tossing him at the feet of the three dragon slayers.

"He stinks." Frowning, Gajeel plugged his nose, followed by Natsu and Wendy doing the same. "Did he piss himself. Embarrassing." "Hmph, pot calling the kettle black." Huffing, I folded my arms, glancing at Natsu, who blushed and lunged at me, covering my mouth with his hand. "Y-You promised you'd never mention it, big bro?" Rolling my eyes at his pleading look, I lifted him by the back of his collar, removing him from me.

"What do we do with him?" At Wendy's question, I looked at Gajeel, who quickly met my gaze, only for us to grin; after all, as they say, great minds think alike. Unfortunately, our plan was interrupted as a tall-headed flying cat crash-landed at our feet.

"The hell? More cats like Carla and Happy?" "Oh, you've missed out on a lot, big bro." Scratching my head in confusion, I nodded, accepting his brief explanation for now as it seemed this cat had something important to say.

"D-Dragon slayers! Mystogan, he intends to let Panther Lily kill him!" "Huh, the fuck you say!?" Growling, I grabbed the head of the tall-headed cat, forcing him to face me as I glared intensely into his eyes, causing him to tremble in fear. "B-Big bro, you're scaring him!" Lucky for him, Wendy ran to save him, snatching him out of my grasp.

Once he calmed down, the cat, named Nadi, began explaining Mystogan's plan in greater depth; essentially, he wanted to be the villain of the event, and he'd have Panther Lily kill him. However, I was deeply confused about everything that was happening. 'I'm so confused. Even if Mystogan is from Edolas, why would he go so far for this hell-like place?'

"Why wouldn't he just kill that dude, the villain? Is he not the villain?" Scratching my head, I pointed at the unconscious Faust; I wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, but it seemed given to use the actual villain as the scapegoat, no? 'Wouldn't even be a scapegoat; he caused everything.'

"You're missing a lot of critical information, big bro." Nodding at Gajeel, trusting them, I let it be. "Hehe, if Mystogan needs a villain, why don't we be one?" Grinning, Natsu wickedly rubbed his hands, earning skeptical glances from the four of us.

Natsu proceeds to hand Wendy and Gajeel cloaks before creating a plan; basically, spread out, cause destruction, and then get defeated by Mystogan.

Watching Nadi fly away, returning to inform Mystogan of the destruction the three dragon slayers were about to cause, Natsu gave me a look, issuing the final part of the plan. "Big bro, to really cement us as villains, we need to be intimidating!" "I can be intimidating."

The three of them gave me a silent once-over. "Intimidating and downright terrifying are two different things, big bro." Shooting Wendy a glare, I huffed and folded my arms. "Hmph, you're over-exaggerating." "Um, well, anyway, when it's time to make our appearance before Mystogan, just release your magic power!"

Nodding at Natsu's plan, following along with it, something I would've never imagined would happen in a thousand years, the three promptly split up, causing destruction. While they did that, I sat down, yawning and glaring at Faust, only for hand to rub my head, though when I realized who it was, my growl was cut short.

"You're really violent; you need to control that, Cooper." Eyeing Savanah, who faintly smiled while her magic weapon rested on her shoulder, I scoffed. "I'm omnilingual. Violence is a language understood by all." "Oh, you little brat, just listen to me for once." I didn't respond and just folded my arms, though I promptly noticed Erza, glancing between us with a weird look.

"Yes?" "Oh, uh, nothing. You two just seem very comfortable with each other." Glancing at Savanah, I snorted. "Not in the slightest. She's annoying and overbearing." "Huh, annoying!? I'm no such thing!" "Sure." "Hmph, well, fine, if you think I'm so annoying, then I'm no longer talking to you." "I-It was a joke, Savanah… Savanah… Savanah? Okay, I'm sorry, Savanah, I didn't mean it."

Gently nudging her shoulder, apologizing, she finally glanced at me, flashing a charming smile, and embracing me in a hug. "Hehe, see, I knew you didn't think I was annoying." Internally grumbling, I hugged Savanah back. In doing so, I saw Erza staring at me with wide eyes.

After several minutes, Mystogan finally arrived, prompting the three dragon slayers to arrive, standing atop the Dorma Anima, looking like some terrible minor villains. As planned, I unleashed my magic, creating an oppressive atmosphere for the hundreds of spectators while casting the three against a golden background.

While doing so, though, I feel my magic slowly being siphoned to the sky, causing me to frown slightly. 'It's the same phenomenon when I got sucked up here.' Realizing we'd be leaving soon, I ignored the fight between Natsu and Mystogan and looked at Savanah.

"I think I'm leaving." "Is that so? I was hoping you'd stay for longer." I just remained silent; part of me did wish to stay longer with her. "Oh, are you feeling sad?" Seeing her teasing smile, I scoffed, causing her to chuckle. "Hehe, don't be sad… Even if you're not my Cooper, I'm glad I met you." Smiling, she stood on her toes, tenderly rubbing my head, causing me lower my head. "I-I'm glad too."

"Make sure to visit me, though; I need to check on my little brother. I know you probably cause a bunch of problems in Earthland." "N-Not many." "Fufu, at least lie better." Blushing a bit at being caught, I averted my gaze, only for her kiss my forehead. "Make sure to protect your Fairy Tail." "I-I will."

Nodding in response, my feet left the ground as I slowly got sucked up into the sky. "B-Bye! I-I'll miss you big sis!" Shouting, I waved at her, causing her to laugh as she waved back, her face full of smiles.

As Edolas faded away, that weird sensation coursed through my body, and before I knew it, I was now standing exactly where I was originally standing in Magnolia.

"I-I'm back?" Feeling that atmosphere rich in etherano, I breathed a sigh of relief, though I felt a sense of loss as well. Deciding to return to the guild, I took a step forward, only for my leg to give out as I began falling.

'Oh yeah, I'm low on blood—'
