Previous season, Cybertron 1650.
Possible...
Before what happened in Season 1 and 2.
This time Season 3...
The year 1500, 100 years before Season 1 and 2.
....
Welcome to Cybertron. A world full of joy, full of color, advanced, peaceful people, like a beautiful paradise.
Not only that, this is a world with a rich diversity of flora and fauna. There are plants, forests, seasons, and animals that are incredibly unique and fascinating.
This world is inhabited by the most intelligent beings who dominate it, the inhabitants of the planet Cybertron and are often called Cybertronians.
Cybertronians are certainly familiar creatures, possessing a human-like body structure. From head to toe, they share a striking resemblance in size and proportion.
But what makes them different is that their bodies are filled with steel and sturdy mechanics that are adaptive to their surroundings.
The body is not entirely made of steel, the body is full of layers and their core is actually organic and has organs that are also similar to humans but with different ways of working and shapes.
There is rubber as the body's muscles, then unique elastic metal in the first layer of skin and steel in the thick and large outer layer of skin.

In a city called Iacon City,
The sun had set, taking its warm light with it. Then came the darkness, which was cold and blurred the vision.
The streets are quite busy today, and local residents have turned on the lights in every apartment, street, and building. To bring back some light, even if it's not as bright as the sun.
The streets were bustling with people on the sidewalks, engaging in various activities, from strolling to joking. The glow of streetlights in the darkness brought back warmth.
A taxi was carrying passengers, and there was also a driver at the front.
So there were three passengers. A little girl, her mother, and her father were sitting in the back.
The little girl, her appearance was very beautiful, with a very sweet smile, very happy, leaning back while looking at the side view through the car window and sitting on her mother's lap.
"Huh... why can't it be? No-no. You haven't even examined him, why are you rejecting him just by his diagnosis?" Dad was busy on his gadget, he sounded angry.
"Sir, I'm sorry. I really can't. There have been many cases like this, and no one has ever survived, especially since it's so late," said a voice on the father's phone.
The girl's father let out a long sigh. His face looked heavy, something disappointed him. For a moment, the girl was slightly swept away by the cheerful face staring out.
The girl's father turned off his gadget and stroked his forehead. He seemed even more stressed this time about what he was facing.
The girl, looking at her father, sat on her mother's lap.
Mother's eyes continued to droop, especially after father closed his gadget.
"Daddy seems very busy, is there a problem?" said the girl.
Her father then looked at his daughter, started to smile and chuckled, "It's okay, Papa just asked for more vacation time so we can be together longer."
The father's answer brought a smile to his daughter's face. The sweet girl finally cheered up again, "Then let's go to the New Year's festival tonight at Iacon Park!"
"Of course, we're in a hurry to..." said dad.
But suddenly, Mother, holding Father's hand, looked at his face. But Mother, her face was wrinkled, and her eyes were glassy.
Dad looked at Mom's face and nodded. "Okay, we'll stop at the park, Iris dear!"
Father finally said his daughter's real name was C-Iris.
Iris looked back at the view outside the car from the car window.
His father sat down, but his hand continued to stroke his forehead. As if something was weighing on his mind.
Yes, then he got up and approached the taxi driver.
"Hey, can we stop by the fair later?" Iris's father asked.
The taxi driver replied, "Of course!"
"Yey! Dad is the best!!" said the girl.
"Come here... Daddy wants a hug!" said the father.
Then Iris' father hugged Iris and held her in his arms.
"So, when you get to the exhibition, which game do you want to play first?" asked the father.
"I want to go fishing with my dad. I want a big fish!" said the little girl.
"Wow, how big is it?" asked the father.
"Wide and long. As big as Papa. I want to see it in our aquarium too!" said the little girl.
"Hmm... okay... dad, make sure you get the giant fish!" said the father.
The mother then said, "Instead of going into the aquarium, how about you cook?"
"Wow, I can. Mom's cooking is the best!" said the little girl.
"Cough!" the little girl sounded a little coughy.
****
After a few minutes of travel, the taxi carrying Iris' family stopped.
Iris's father got out of the taxi while carrying Iris on his shoulders, then Iris's mother followed him out.
"Where are we going first? Straight to fishing?" asked the father.
"Wow..." How amazed Iris was at tonight's festival.
Full of colorful colors. A super bright place, as if there would be no room for darkness.
There are lots of stands such as games and sales. Not only that, in a place a little further away there is a concert being held.
It was very crowded with visitors, more crowded than the discounts at the supermarket.
They started walking around while looking for games that Iris could play and that she might like.
"Okay, do you like horse riding?" asked the father.
"Sure, let's go! I want mom and dad to come too!"
"Hair-hair..."
Iris then ran towards the horse ride, full of enthusiasm and very happy.
"Hey, be careful you trip!" said his mother.
Iris rode the horse, and her father and mother followed. They decided to meet the horseman to ask some questions.
"Excuse me, sir!" Iris' father called to his guard.
"Uh, aren't you Mr. Sentinel Prime?" the guard asked Iris' father.
Iris' father smiled and nodded, confirming that he was the master of Sentinel Prime.
"Adults can safely ride this horse ride, right?" asked Mr. Sentinel Prime to one of the ride's guards.
"Safe for all ages, as long as you are no taller than 6 meters. There are several large horses for adults."
...
They as a family finally went on the horse ride there, having fun, Iris and her father (Sentinel) enjoyed the fun.
Laughing together happily in the warmth that made some people around want to try it too.
...
But then Mom came down, and—
"UEGHHH!!!"
He vomited,
because he was dizzy and spinning.
"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" asked the ride attendant as he handed her a bottle of mineral water.
"Just a little nauseous!" said Mrs. Iris.
"You should have told us if it was going too fast!" said the guard.
Mrs. Iris replied, "Ah, it's okay. I know it's standard speed, I was just a little dizzy from the start."
"If you feel dizzy, you don't have to come along!" said Mr. Sentinel.
"Ah, it's okay. Let's move on to another game," said Mrs. Iris.
Iris thought for a moment and she said, "How about we just go fishing?"
...
Iris's parents agreed, and they decided to walk to a nearby lake. They bought fishing hooks from a stand by the lake and silicone fish bait.
While on his way to the lake, Mr. Sentinel was greeted by someone who was familiar to him.
"Yo, Mr. Sentinel. Nice to see you here today!" the man said.
"Oh, Doctor Drugger!" Mr. Sentinel then shook hands with the man, whose name was Doctor Drugger. He was a surgeon.
"Nice to meet you too, How are you?" said Mr. Sentinel.
"Thank goodness you're fine, how about you?" asked Dr. Drugger.
"Yes, it's quite alright," said Mr. Sentinel with a faint smile.
"Wow, I don't feel comfortable when you say things like that. It looks like you've been out for a walk today, huh? How's your daughter doing now, sir?" asked Dr. Drugger.
"..." Mr. Sentinel looked at his daughter Iris. "She's coughing a bit, but she should be fine. I'm sure taking her to the fair will make her happy, and being away from the stress will ease the pain," Mr. Sentinel said.
"Oh, yes. Of course, many diseases are caused by stress," said Dr. Drugger.
"If you don't mind, we'll go fishing now, and we'll talk later, okay?" said Mr. Sentinel.
Then Mr. Sentinel walked away with his daughter Iris and his wife.
"Yes, I happen to be busy too, we'll talk another time, okay?" Mr. Doctor Drugger waved his hand.
Mr. Sentinel and his family went further towards the lake.
Dr. Drugger looked surprised, still staring at Mr. Sentinel for a moment longer.
Doctor Drugger turned around, he chose to walk in front of him and leave.
****
"Wow, the lake is really big, huh!"
Iris's eyes sparkled brightly when she saw how vast the lake was where they were about to cast their fishing hooks.
Iris's father "Sentinel" then threw his fishing hook so far into the lake.
KRRTTT...
The fishing hook wheel spins quickly, extending the line.
Until there was a sound, "Dekk!" The fishing line had reached its length limit.
Only then did Sentinel slowly turn his fishing wheel to pull in the line, making the bait appear to move.
"Come on, father! Shake it!!" said Iris.
It took quite a while, until the fishing bait almost reached the shore.
Bush!!
...
Who would have thought that the bait would be caught by a big fish.
The tail's slash splashed, until the water splash hit several people on the shore who were also fishing.
The father held the fishing hook, his hands trembling with each pull.
"Oh, Primus!!" Sentinel said in praise.
The wife quickly grabbed her husband's hand, helping him pull in the fishing rod.
Several people nearby were drawn to his attention. Someone was having a mechanical duel with a large fish. Moreover, it wasn't just anyone; it was Sentinel Prime.
Doctor Drugger also witnessed it because there were many people there.
Someone immediately took his boat to the lake and approached the large fish. His boat already had a net to help.
"Mr. Sentinel, let me help you!" said a fisherman who happened to be there.
"Yes... Rhggggh!" replied the Sentinel who was holding back the fish's pull.
He had to hold, stretch, and pull the big fish, afraid the hook would break and the line would snap.
On the fisherman's boat, he has a high-powered automatic roller. He throws a net around the big fish. The nets automatically tighten, trapping the big fish.
"Wow, it looks like this is a wing-wing fish!" said the fisherman.
"Is something wrong?" asked the Sentinel who heard the fisherman's words.
Doctor Drugger heard the voices of the fisherman and Mr. Sentinel.
"This fish is easy to hook but difficult to catch. The Wing Flap Fish, with the strength and speed of its fin flaps, can even fly in the air for less than 1 minute," muttered Doctor Drugger.
Shhh!!
The fisherman's boat was suddenly dragged by the flapping fins of a large and fast fish.
"No wonder it's pulling so hard! That's a very strong fish!" said Sentinel, frozen as he saw the fisherman's boat and his crew being dragged by the large fish.
Iris there her eyes drooped, she started to frown, disappointment started to show because the fish was gone and it was difficult to catch.
"Oh no... Looks like we're going to lose him!" Iris said.
Looking at the sweet girl Iris made Sentinel feel like it was time to take this more seriously.
Even though he knew there were many people watching his fishing, any doubts in his heart disappeared for the sake of sweet Iris.
'Don't worry Iris, I can conquer anything for you!' Sentinel muttered.
Mr. Sentinel then took a ready position to run, staring at the fisherman's boat which was starting to move away.
"That pose!"
"It looks like Mr. Sentinel is going to unleash his Hypno Energy powers!" said Doctor Drugger.
The people around started talking about it, they seemed to know what Mr. Sentinel was going to do.
SHHHH!!
Mr. Sentinel then stepped onto the water in the lake. With both feet, he was able to stand on the water.
****
====
Attention!
Here the information:
Sentinel has the power of Hypno Energy, the driving force, its power is to change every pulling force into a repulsion.
When the power is activated, Sentinel is untouchable. Interestingly, this ability allows for prioritizing specific body parts.
When hypnosis energy is focused on a specific part of the body , its power is significantly enhanced. The downside is that if hypnosis energy is distributed throughout the body, its effectiveness is reduced by up to 50%
.
Mr. Sentinel then slowly quickened his pace, until he was running, his feet floating on the water, in pursuit of the wingfish for his Princess Iris.
Meanwhile, the fisherman's boat was moving erratically, being dragged by the wing-flapping fish, a fish that has super fast and very strong fin-flapping power.
"Cih, I won't let you go!" growled Mr. Sentinel.
The net wheel had begun to stretch, running out of strength to hold back the fish's pull.
Mr. Sentinel immediately caught the net rope stretched out by the pull of the fish.
"Come on Dad! Cough-cough" Iris, who was watching, cheered for her father, even amazed by her father's actions.
"Amazing, I've never seen this in person before!" said one of the onlookers.
The people around him then recorded the moment, this special and rare moment.
"Wow, that's so cool, I wish my Hypno Energy was like that too!" said Doctor Drugger.
There Mr. Sentinel stopped and gripped the net rope very tightly.
This type of net has a model where the more pulling power it has, the tighter the snare will be.
The wing flap fish should not be able to move, even flap its fins, because it is caught in the net.
But because the net used has a large knitting distance, this actually gives the fish the opportunity to escape.
Mr. Sentinel used all his strength to hold back the fish that was trying to drag him away.
Bush!!
The fish started to rise to the surface and it looked like it was struggling.
After a while of resisting the fish's pull, the fish slowly began to weaken, the strength of its fins gradually slowed down, of course because the fish was tired.
Until finally the fish could no longer move and Sentinel immediately carried the fish, carrying it to land.
People on the shores of the lake cheered with joy just to witness the Sentinel who managed to catch the most difficult fish to catch.
As soon as he stepped onto land, before deciding to take her straight to the taxi, Mr. Sentinel looked at his little daughter Iris, smiling as he showed off the fish he had caught.
Her little daughter Iris then approached and touched the fish.
"Uhh... its scales are quite thick. So this is the fish that's hard to catch? Cough-cough!" said Iris.
"Of course, your father can conquer anything, even a sea monster!" said his wife.
"Dad is so great!" said Iris.
"Ah, your mother is overreacting!" said Mr. Sentinel.
Mr. Sentinel's wife smiled, and laughed lightly as she hugged Iris.
"You guys just wait here, okay? Let Dad take him to our taxi first," said Mr. Sentinel.
"Okay, Dad!" Iris replied.
"When you come here, bring Iris's drink and medicine!" said his wife.
Mr. Sentinel then went to take the big fish to their taxi and later he would come back there to meet them, his wife and his daughter.
...
But while Mr. Sentinel was gone, Iris sat on the edge of the lake, watching the small fish flitting along the shore. Iris lowered her smile. Her hand clutched her left breast, while the other hand stroked the small fish.
"Your father is always like that, huh... he's really amazing. The prime-like powers he possesses are truly amazing," said Iris' mother, or Mr. Sentinel's wife.
"I hope... someday I... can be like you!" Iris said, but her words were broken.
"Of course you can, son. Everyone can be a Prime!" said his mother.
"..."
"..." Iris let out a long sigh. "You're not lying, are you?" Iris asked.
"... Son, why did you lie about your dreams?" his mother replied.
...
"Iris? Are you okay, dear?" her mother asked.
For some reason, the air I was breathing felt very heavy, my head felt very heavy, a sense of drowsiness was attacking me that slowly made my eyes close.
"Hahhh!!" Iris's breath hitched.
Not long after Miss Iris fell and lost
her balance, her mother immediately took Iris into her lap.
"Oh no, Iris!"
Green blood poured from his nose.
The mother patted her daughter's cheeks, "Iris! Iris! Hang in there, dear! Dear!"
Doctor Drugger, who wasn't far away, turned to where Miss Iris and her mother had been. Seeing Iris unconscious, he quickly ran over.
"What's wrong, Mrs. Amelie?" asked Dr. Drugger.
The mother panicked. Not knowing what to do, her hands trembled, fear stricken, and tears streamed down her cheeks.
"Oh, this is terrible!" Doctor Drugger immediately picked up and carried Miss Iris.
"He needs to be taken to the hospital immediately! His lungs are getting worse!" said Dr. Drugger.
Doctor Drugger then ran as fast as he could while carrying Miss Iris.
"Excuse me, excuse me, make way!" said Doctor Drugger, making his way through the crowd.
Passing through the driveway and finally finding his taxi, Mr. Sentinel appeared to be about to leave, as he had originally intended to return to see Miss Iris and her wife.
However, when he saw Iris unconscious being carried by Doctor Drugger, Mr. Sentinel was shocked. He immediately returned to the taxi and opened the door.
"Driver! We have to hurry to the hospital!" said Mr. Sentinel to the driver.
Doctor Drugger then placed Miss Iris on the taxi seat.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Sentinel, but it looks like you'll have to—"
"I understand!" Mr. Sentinel already knew what he had to do. "Just make sure he gets to the hospital before it's too late!" Mr. Sentinel said.
"Yes, sir. I'm sorry!" said Doctor Drugger.
Mr. Sentinel immediately got out and closed the taxi door. The taxi immediately accelerated and took Miss Iris to the hospital as quickly as possible.
Mr. Sentinel had to follow, he sat down and then some parts of his body moved, because he was going to change form into a 4-wheeled vehicle.
He immediately stepped on the gas, following the taxi which was already speeding right behind him.
***
Tii...
Tii...
Tii...
Miss Iris opened her eyes. She found herself awake in a hospital, with a ventilator attached to her mouth, IV lines on her left and right arms, and numerous devices attached to her chest.
...
"Mr. Sentinel, I apologize. No matter how advanced our technology is, we were unable to save Miss Iris. She is suffering from terminal lung cancer, caused by her continued radiation exposure, Mr. Sentinel," said Doctor Drugger.
"..."
Mr. Sentinel and Mrs. Amelie spoke in the hospital's counseling room with Doctor Drugger.
Mr. Sentinel, looking down, "huhh..." let out a long sigh.
"So..."
"How much longer can he last?" asked Mr. Sentinel.
"... If you decide not to see him, he might survive for less than 7 more days. If you are near him again... I'm afraid... maybe tomorrow we won't be able to see him again," said Doctor Drugger, though he was stuttering in front of Mr. Sentinel and Amelie who were sad.
"If only the radiation could be removed from me, Doctor Drugger," said Mr. Sentinel.
Doctor Drugger replied, "Unfortunately this radiation has been embedded throughout your body, Mr. Sentinel."
***
Where Miss Iris lay, she was still unconscious. Beside her, the electrocardiogram continued to show Iris's heartbeat sounding slower.
Even breathing requires the assistance of a ventilator, and an IV drip is inserted into his hand to help prevent dehydration.
Amelia lay down and fell asleep beside Miss Iris to wait and keep her company.
Meanwhile, Mr. Sentinel from outside, stood looking through the glass window of Miss Iris's treatment room.
Next to Mr. Sentinel's seat was Doctor Drugger who had fallen asleep while sitting, his eyes closed and his head resting on the edge of the chair, he was snoring.
Mr. Sentinel did not sleep, he kept thinking all night.
Mr. Sentinel's gadget vibrated in his arm. As soon as he pressed a button, a hologram appeared, showing someone contacting him, with the name Nova Prime written on it.
Mr. Sentinel then stepped away, walking away from the hospital hallway which was deserted with the clock on the hallway wall showing 2 am.
...
Sentinel arrived at the top of the hospital building. He then looked down at his gadget and picked up the voice call.
"Sentinel, are you okay? I just received information that your daughter fainted at the festival," Nova Prime's voice came from the phone, sounding somewhat feminine.
Sentinel replied, "We're already at Iacon hospital. He's fine for now."
"Sentinel... I'm sorry. I should have been there to help you. I've been really busy lately," Nova Prime said.
Mr. Sentinel stared at the fingers of his right hand, he leaned against the fence while staring at the moon shining brightly, illuminating the darkness above the top of the hospital building.
The clouds then moved in, covering the moonlight, making it dark again, and leaving the red lights flickering on top of the buildings to provide the light.
"Just say you don't have time. What do I mean to you anyway?—"
"Sentinel—"
"You're nothing to me too? I've always been disappointed in you, you ask this only for validation and self-cleansing—"
"Sentinel, listen to me—"
—————
The phone line is turned off...
Mr. Sentinel was silent, feeling the strong wind blowing, and blowing away the dust that was around there.
Staring down at the city from above, his blue eyes glowing in the darkness, with red lights flashing behind them. His gaze was sharp, colder than before.
"Sentinel!!!"
His wife's voice called out loudly, and she appeared through the doorway. Her face was haggard and she was breathing heavily. "Iris..."
Mr. Sentinel's eyes widened, his body immediately moving quickly towards the ladder and lowering it.
His wife Amelie sat up there, shedding tears and letting Mr. Sentinel run down there.
Sentinel ran at full speed, pushing everyone in the hallway. Chasing Iris's treatment room.
As soon as the door was pushed open, Doctor Drugger stood next to the bed, he took off his mask and glasses.
"Iiiiiiiiiit"
The sound of the detector machine.
Sentinel quickly approached his daughter, Iris. He stroked Miss Iris's face.
Miss Iris had her eyes closed, motionless and lying on her bed.
"Iris! Girl... I'm sorry, dad!"
Sentinel couldn't hold back the tears that flowed freely. The silent room was filled with the sound of Sentinel's wailing. Because her daughter had died.
****
The next morning, Iris' funeral was held on a bright morning at the Iacon City cemetery.
Sentinel's wife, Amelie, clutches a framed photo of Miss Iris at her funeral.
The priest finally finished chanting the prayer for the burial of Miss Iris's body.
Wreaths of flowers from the grieving community lay on Miss Iris' grave.
Because the funeral ceremony had ended, the people who attended the funeral ceremony then asked permission to leave Sentinel and his wife.
Everyone left, leaving only Sentinel and his wife. But there was one more person left. A man in a wheelchair moved closer to Sentinel and his wife.
"Aren't you going?" asked Sentinel.
"..." The man was silent.
Sentinel then said, "We were dreaming. Maybe one day I could make him a Prime just like me. I'd send him to a prestigious academy, give him a comfortable life, and always give him the attention he needed..."
"...But I never thought that my love would not be approved. In fact, it turned out to be my biggest mistake,"
"My love is too big and heavy for him. What child can grow up without their parents' love, Nova?"
Sentinel called the man in the wheelchair Nova Prime. The same person had called him last night.
Nova then said even though her face looked scared, "... Children can't handle the radiation from Prime's body, Sentinel."
The Sentinel turned his back, then said, "... So whose fault is this?"
"Sentinel," his wife called, grabbing his arm.
Sentinel wiped away his wife's grip on his arm.
"This isn't fair, Nova Prime. Primus promised me the best life, but what did I get? A curse from him? What did I do wrong? What sin did I commit against him to deserve this fate? Did he deliberately play with my loyalty?" Sentinel said.
"...I'm sorry, Sentinel. But this is a fate decreed by Primus. I'm truly sorry, but what can we do against his will?" Nova Prime said.
"Destiny... Destiny... And Destiny...., Why do all the answers always point to that?..." Sentinel's gaze was blank and his eyes widened as he stared intently at Nova Prime. "This isn't fair."
Sentinel took a heavy step. He approached Nova Prime. "Why does everyone always have to bend to that, Nova? Why does everyone have limits, Nova? And is this fate, or a curse?"
Sentinel reached out, both hands gripping tightly onto Nova Prime's wheelchair. With a close gaze, Nova Prime didn't dare look up, feeling like if he did, he would be killed.
"Why are you just silent, Nova? Answer me!" Sentinel said firmly.
The sound of Sentinel's breathing was palpable. It felt incredibly heavy, the force of his breath blowing through my mind.
Nova Prime then opened his trembling mouth. "Sentinel,... I don't know what the answer is. I was born to submit to fate and all that the gods have created. I'm truly sorry, from the beginning I wasn't made to understand the feelings of Cybertronians. I truly don't understand what's happening."
"... Oh, so that's how it is," said Sentinel.
The breaths began to make noise, getting louder, louder, his hands clenching harder and harder.
Nova Prime closed his eyelids...
...
"Sentinel!" called the wife.
...
It nearly exploded, but Sentinel's wife immediately called him, quelling the explosion.
Nova Prime opened his eyes again, Sentinel stepping back, away. He turned around, his back to her. "Get out of my sight."
The Sentinel then walked away.
Nova Prime was silent for a moment. He said. "Sentinel! Call Nova Prime.
Sentinel walked away, leaving Nova Prime and his wife behind. He walked quickly, and without looking back.
His wife looked at Nova Prime.
"Nova... I was the one who gave her the idea to adopt a child because of my own desire. I was also the one who asked her to always accompany Iris. She couldn't refuse my wish, because it was also her wish. I think, it seems this is also my fault. I failed to be a good mother to raise her child. If only there was an antidote."
"I'm sorry for what Sentinel did! It was my fault, because I was incompetent." Sentinel's wife's tears flowed freely.
"... I have to go after him now. I'm going, see you!" said Sentinel's Wife.
Nova Prime didn't say a word to Sentinel's wife. He simply stared at her face, who turned away from him and left.
Nova Prime was lost in thought, remembering Sentinel's words. If Amelie hadn't stopped him, he couldn't imagine what Sentinel would have done to Nova Prime.
A notification came in on Nova Prime's device. It contained an assignment. He was even being asked by his assistant to return to Iacon Palace immediately. He turned his wheelchair around and left the cemetery, resuming his duties there.
***
Sentinel and his wife walked together. His wife kept her distance, not daring to approach Sentinel, as her steps felt empty.
Passing along the sidewalk for pedestrians, next to the main road which is busy with passing vehicles, accompanied by several tall buildings next to it.
In addition, there are many billboards that say "Thank you Iacon City Welcome Cybertown."
It looks like Iacon City is about to change its name to Cybertown.
So they both wanted to cross the road, but waited for the traffic light to change color.
"Sentinel... I'm going to the market to stock up on groceries. You go home first, okay?" Amelie said, giving her husband, Sentinel, a smile.
...
The light changes to green and pedestrians are allowed to cross.
Sentinel continued on his way, saying nothing to his wife, Amelie. Meanwhile, Amelie remained silent, for she would not cross.
Sentinel did not respond to Amelie's speech or even hear her.
Amelie let out a long breath, the small smile fading from her face. She decided to continue walking to her destination, the market.
...
***
Water poured from the shower, pooled on the floor, and the water rushed out the drain.
The side lights were on, but the overhead lights were left off.
Inside, Sentinel sat on the floor, his legs spread out, and his back against the wall.
His gaze froze, slightly downcast, in the half-darkness of the room, the blue light from his eyes shining.
He let the water continue to flow, wetting his entire body. He didn't even move an inch from his position.
Tok... Tok... Tok.
"Sentinel, open the door!" called Amelie, his wife, from outside the bathroom.
Sentinel remained silent, even though he heard his Wife's voice.
Amelie, his wife, was outside, standing in front of the bathroom door, her gaze cast down. She knew how devastated Sentinel was right now.
"I've cooked, let's eat," said Amelie.
The sound of the shower stopped. Then Amelie picked up the pan and placed the plates on the dining table. Amelie sat and waited for her husband, Sentinel, to arrive.
Finally, Sentinel emerged from the bathroom. Amelie was pleased to see him. But Sentinel continued walking away from the kitchen.
"Sentinel, you haven't eaten since earlier," said his wife.
Sentinel stopped. Amelie, his wife, was behind him and said, "Sit down... I've cooked a delicious meal—and also... your favorite food—"
"Where are the fish that were in the aquarium yesterday?" said her husband.
"... T—that," The wife, Amelie was nervous.
Sentinel still didn't look back, his back to his wife.
"Answer... Amelie," said Sentinel.
...
Amelie took a deep, ragged breath as if the air felt tight.
"... I— I'm sorry..."
Amelie gripped her left hand tightly, not daring to look at Sentinel's back.
"... I'm selling it!" Amelie replied.
Sentinel then turned to his wife, Amelie. His wide eyes filled the room.
"Why?" asked the Sentinel.
Amelie gripped his left hand, tears streaming down her face.
"B—because..."
"...B—b—because... I don't want you to continue to be sad looking at that fish," said Amelie with tears streaming down her chin.
Sentinel then walked towards the glass aquarium, which had no fish in it.
"So... you think I shouldn't grieve for my daughter?" Sentinel said.
"No! That's not what I meant, Sentinel!" said Amelie.
"So that princess is useless to you?" said Sentinel.
"No! Sentinel, I don't—"
CRASHH!!!!
Sentinel then punched the glass aquarium with both hands, shattering it with one blow. Water immediately flooded the kitchen floor.
BRUSHHH!!
Hit again, again and again to the Aquarium.
"Yes!... All this is useless! There is no use in mourning the dead—"
"Sentinel!!" Amelie shouted.
"They can't even come back to life—"
"Sentinel Stop!"
"They left me alone! They made me responsible for everything they left behind. Why?... If they were going to die in the end, why did they leave so many memories behind? Why didn't they just die and leave, why did I have to know them all my life if they were going to leave me in the end? Why..."
Sentinel looked down, amidst the scattered glass. The sadness, the pain, was nothing compared to the aching pain in his heart.
Amelie moved and hugged her husband, Sentinel.
"Enough... enough... stop hurting yourself!... Stop Sentinel! I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. It's my fault for failing to be a good mother. I'm sorry, I'm useless, please forgive me!"
Sentinel then hugged his wife, Amelie, tightly, they both sat among the glass debris scattered on the floor.
They were both hurt. They both tried not to show it, but they couldn't hold back the pain.
****
That night,
in the same room, on the same bed, Sentinel and his wife, Amelie, lay together. They were both unable to sleep, facing opposite directions, and quite a distance apart.
Sentinel sat up, got up from the room, and without a word he walked out.
Amelie, his wife, knew her husband, Sentinel, had left again. She didn't question him, choosing to remain silent and let him. Even after Sentinel left, she kept glancing at the bedroom door every now and then, knowing that tonight, Sentinel wouldn't be sleeping with her.
....
It was very late at night. It was quiet, not even a single person could be seen on the main road, except for the sound of barking dogs.
Sentinel walked away alone. I don't know where he's going.
But Sentinel stopped at the largest church in Iacon City. The church was locked, but Sentinel then cut through it with his sword hand.
Dumb...
The large, wide doors of the church slowly slid open, leaving only the flickering lights of the wicks scattered about.
Sentinel stepped onto the red carpet, closing the large door, leaving himself alone inside.
Climbing a few steps, on a level surface above, he knelt before the majestic statue of the great Primus. Beneath the umbrella, various candles from those who had previously prayed were burning, some already gone, others still burning.
Sentinel took his match from his breast pocket. He lit it and placed it beneath the statue of the god Primus among the other candles placed there.
Tears flowed from the tip of her chin, dripping onto the floor.
"Why are you punishing me like this, god Primus? I don't even know what sin I have committed to deserve this kind of punishment."
A sob, from his hoarse voice. He spoke like a man who was tired, dying, unable to bear the burden on his chest.
"I just want to be happy with my child. Please tell me, what is the cause and reason for me to be cursed like this?"
Crack...
The sound of something very close, right next to him. It wasn't like there wasn't anyone there. Sentinel quickly turned to his left.
A person sits down and places a lit candle on a plate.
Both eyes are orange. But, the teeth are wide open when you look at them.
Sentinel's eyes spontaneously trembled, he reflexively jumped and retreated, keeping his distance from the strange person.
"... You..." Sentinel said.
"Hehehehe," the man chuckled. His voice sounded a little heavy, a slight tremor that was somewhat deep.
"What's this? A Prime? Doubting his god?"
Sentinel transforms his wrists into sharp sword-like weapons made of metal.
"... Scourge, you are still alive after all,"
Scourge kept smiling, "...You're so cute with that desperate face."
Scourge stood up from where he was sitting.
"Tsk-tsk-tsk," he clucked.
Scourge narrowed his eyes, his hand stroking his chin, for a moment to think.
Scourge, with that smile, took a step. One by one, he approached Sentinel. Sentinel tightened his grip on his weapon.
"Wow... if only I had a limbic system. I would definitely understand what you're feeling," Scoruge said.
"It seems Primus has answered your question..."
"You also seem very interesting to me, so I thought, it seems I can make you an offer... and I have a useful bonus to help you out," said Scourge.
"Do you think there's a miracle that can bring someone back from the dead?" asked Sentinel.
"Hehehe," Scourge chuckled.
Scourge touched Sentinel's shoulder, walking past him. "Have you forgotten that my master is an expert?"
Sentinel froze, his body motionless when he touched it.
Scourge then released his touch, and continued to walk behind Sentinel. "Meet my master, you will have your answer, Sentinel!"
Sentinel turned, slashing with the sword in his grip.
"I will never ally with you!" said Sentinel.
But the slash didn't hit Scoruge because he wasn't there anymore.
Sentinel looked around, he just realized that all the candles and offerings under the statue of the god Primus had been extinguished, except for one candle from Scoruge.
"Damn it!!" Sentinel shouted quite loudly.
To be continued....
