"Boutsuki-san!" said the boy.
Leah looked at the boy as she was shocked.
Leah's excitement and blush suddenly disappeared. She thought to herself "Oh, it's just Abeno-san. Well I mean, who am I expecting anyways?"
After asking herself that question, she remembered what happened earlier in the hallway. She blushed once again and walked towards Abeno.
"What is it?" Leah asked politely.
Abeno replied "We'll be having our first group meeting and organize some things before Rikitake Sensei arrives."
Leah looked around at her group. "So we only have 2 boys huh." She thought to herself. She sat down with her group.
"Okay, I guess everyone's. Should we start now, Daikuhara-san?" a girl asked.
Leah was shocked when she heard the last name "Daikuhara."
"Yes, Basaki-san. Let's all do our best!" said Jousuke.
Leah looked at Jousuke and saw a smiling face. She blushed harder due to her shyness when she realized she was sitting next to Jousuke, remembering what happened in the hallway.
Jousuke then cleared his throat and began speaking "As we all know, we have a project that is due next month. It means it is due in November. We don't know the exact date but that only means one thing—we have to this as fast as we can. As the group facilitator, I volunteer to be the scriptwriter and the director. But I will need another scriptwriter. I will write the first half of the story and the other one will write the last half."
"I don't think I'm able to do that. But since we'll be filming, I can be the videographer, the editor, and the technical director at the same time." said Basaki.
"Wouldn't that pressure you too much?" a girl asked.
"No, Chuujou-san. I can handle it all. That's my passion and my skill so leave it to me. Plus we don't have enough members, there were only eight of us." said Basaki.
"Eight of us? But I thought Daimon Sensei divided the class with 10 students each group?" a girl asked.
"Great question, Chihara-san. I almost forgot to tell y'all that, I apologize. Two of our members transferred into another school recently. Takeuchi-san and Bannai-san. That's why we'll be competing with other groups even though we're outnumbered by them." said Jousuke.
"This question might be out of topic, but what's the film's topic again?" a boy asked.
Jousuke scratched his head and then chuckled. He asked the boy "Pardon me, but what's your name again?"
The boy replied "Oh, no worries, I never introduced myself to anyone anyways. My name's Jirou Sugiyama, pleased to meet you!"
Jousuke replied "Pleased to meet you too, Sugiyama-san! To answer your question, the topic that Daimon Sensei gave is about violence."
"What kind of violence shall we film?" a girl asked.
Jousuke asked again "I'm really sorry guys, I don't know all of you yet! What's your name again?"
The girl replied "Jeez, it's Kaori Agata."
"Yeah, sorry Agata-san. I don't know the answer to your question yet, but does anyone have suggestions here?" Jousuke asked.
"I'm thinking about gang violence." said Abeno.
"That's not too bad. Let's take your idea; we'll just need a deeper and more specific suggestion." said Jousuke.
"What about you Boutsuki-san? Do you have any suggestions?" Basaki asked.
"W-What? Me? Uhm...I don't really have one..." said Leah.
"Come on Boutsuki-san, think deeper. You're the smartest one in our class!" said Chuujou.
"S-Speaking of gang, I think f-fraternity hazing would be nice..." said Leah.
Leah then looked at Jousuke and thought to herself "Come on! Accept it! It's the best idea I've thought of!"
Jousuke replied "That's actually...a great idea!"
Leah was shocked when Jousuke accepted her idea and thought to herself "My idea really is the best!"
"To sum up everything that has been discussed, I'm the first scriptwriter and of course, director, since I'm the group facilitator. Basaki-san will be our editor, videographer, and technical director. In spite of that, all of us will be actors and actresses, due to the reason that we don't have enough group members." said Jousuke.
"We've settled a lot of things, but who will be the other scriptwriter?" Chihara asked.
"I don't really know, any volunteer?" Jousuke asked.
Chuujou grabbed Leah's wrist and raised their hands. Leah was shocked and speechless.
"Boutsuki-san! She's our top student in our class and is one of the smartest student in the whole school. Plus she's the one who suggested our theme. There's no denying she'll be a great scriptwriter!" said Chuujou.
"W-Wait Chuujou-san!" said Leah with hesitation.
"Who else is agreeing?" Basaki asked.
All of the members raised their hands.
"Then, it is settled. Boutsuki-san will be the other scriptwriter." said Jousuke with happiness.
A few seconds later, the physics teacher arrived.
"Settle down everyone. Good morning!" said the physics teacher.
Every students in the class went back to their seats and greeted the physics teacher as well. "Good morning, Rikitake Sensei!" and then bowed as a sign of respect.
"Today, we will be discussing about electromagnetic spectrum..." said Rikitake and continued discussing her lesson.
Jousuke asked himself "How will I talk to her about that script if she seems to hate me?"
Then he remembered when Leah didn't accept his hand that last friday. He also remembered what happened in the hallway. After that she looked at Leah.
He smiled thought to himself "I've got an idea!"
Hours later, it is now lunchtime. Jousuke was drafting the first half of their group's script.
In all of a sudden, Natsu tapped Jousuke's shoulder and asked "Why so serious?" He looked at what's Jousuke's writing and said "A script, huh? Oh that's right, you'll be facilitating your group. How lame."
"Shut up." is what Jousuke replied.
"Let's go have some lunch." said Asa.
"You two can go. I'm not hungry." said Jousuke as he continued writing.
Natsu and Asa looked at each other and nodded. They left and Natsu replied to Jousuke with "Okay."
Jousuke ignored it and continued writing.
On the other hand, Natsu and Asa went to the cafeteria. They walked and had a chat.
"Say, isn't Jousuke too studios?" Natsu asked.
"Get used to it Natsu. He's been like that since 9th grade. Well atleast, he is rewarded by his actions." said Asa.
"He is indeed a good student. Maybe we should just get him lunch and be considerate." said Natsu.
"Yeah, sure." said Asa.
In all of a sudden, someone punched Natsu's arm and laughed. "Ouch!" is what Natsu's response is. He then looked at who punched him and realized it was Joutarou.
"Oh, it's you! I thought I'll be having my first enemy." said Natsu.
The three of them bought their lunches including Jousuke's. They sat down and talked.
Joutarou gave a fake serious look and asked "Out of curiosity, what were you talking about earlier?"
"What do you mean?" Asa asked.
"That moment when you and Jousuke arrived. Natsu went like 'Anyways, have you decided now, Jousuke?' and Jousuke replied with 'I don't really know, give me some time.' and then you and Natsu nodded at Jousuke. What was that?" said Joutarou.
"Come closer, no one else may hear us." said Natsu.
Natsu whispered to Joutarou about the music competition.
Joutarou replied "A music competition!?" with happiness in his face.
"Hush! Someone might hear you! And yes! Someone in the student council told us about it." said Asa.
"You mean our 9th grade top student?" Joutarou asked.
"Yes. But you shall not tell anyone about this!" said Natsu.
"Of course, I won't! But can we team up in that competition though?" Joutarou asked.
"Unfortunately, no. All of the classes will compete. And since we're not in the same class anymore, you, my friend, is one of our components." said Asa.
"Fair enough." said Joutarou.
"You guys don't have to whisper, you know? I overheard your conversation last saturday. I'll make sure I get to team up with Daikuhara-san before you will, Natsu and Asa." Basaki-san thought to herself with an evil look.
