Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: The Worship Of Sui-Feng, The Wheel Tomb And The Prison

"..."

Sui-Feng stared at the figure in the sky.

A rare look of admiration flashed in her eyes.

She had just fought against Baraggan and knew firsthand how terrifying his strength was.

In her unreleased state—without activating her Bankai—she hadn't been able to fight back at all.

Just one swing from his Zanpakutō had aged the flesh on her arm into dust.

And yet, Nanaya didn't even move. With just a look, he blasted Baraggan straight from the sky to the ground.

"..."

"No wonder he was able to fight the Captain-Commander…"

"That guy's gotten even stronger. I don't think even the Captain could beat him now…"

The Shinigami were thrilled.

Just when everything seemed lost, Nanaya had appeared like a god from the heavens, instantly changing the tide of battle.

If it weren't for the serious situation, they might've lit fireworks to celebrate.

"What is that…?"

Aizen Sōsuke narrowed his eyes, focusing on the massive statue behind Nanaya—the Gedo Statue.

"That thing… it actually gives me a sense of danger."

The giant, dead tree-like figure released glowing golden chains from its chest, tightly binding the nine tailed beasts like reins.

Its spiritual pressure was even more overwhelming than Yamamoto's Shikai state.

"What a troublesome human…" Aizen muttered, eyes flashing.

He glanced down at Baraggan, who had just been blasted away.

"What was that strange power…?"

Baraggan rose to his feet, face dark with fury.

Though Nanaya's repulsive force hadn't fatally injured him, it had humiliated him—and that stung more than the damage.

He had once been the King of Hueco Mundo.

Now, he had been sent flying like a rookie.

Gripping his soul-slaying weapon, Baraggan's expression twisted with rage. Dark energy surged around him.

"Decay—Skull Emperor!" he growled.

Suddenly—

A dark miasma burst out.

His appearance changed completely as he released his Resurrección.

He was no longer a withered old man.

Now, he wore a layered crown. His face and body transformed into a full skeleton. His boots hit the ground with a heavy thud. Black flames wrapped around his whole body. A long silver chain hung from the crown, swaying with every step.

Holding a massive black double-edged axe, he now resembled a true Grim Reaper from old legends—cold, merciless, and terrifying.

It looked as if, at any moment, he could reach out with that chain and pull the soul right out of someone's body.

Seeing this, Sui-Feng's gaze sharpened.

She didn't hesitate.

She raised her only remaining arm and said coldly:

"Bankai!"

"Jakuhō Raikōben!"

Her Zanpakutō, Suzumebachi, once the size of a small stinger, now transformed into a sleek, golden missile launcher.

Sui-Feng glanced at Nanaya and gritted her teeth.

"Nanaya, leave this guy to me. You focus on Aizen."

To her, Aizen was the real threat.

After all, he had defeated the Captain-Commander. Only Nanaya stood a chance against him.

She wouldn't let anyone interfere with that battle.

"I hate using this Bankai, but… if it takes you down, then so be it."

Her eyes narrowed as she aimed the missile squarely at Baraggan—now in his skeletal death-god form.

Meanwhile, Kyoraku Shunsui and Jūshirō Ukitake shared the same idea.

Without exchanging a word, they charged toward Starrk and launched a fierce attack.

Starrk sighed. He hadn't wanted to fight Nanaya or anyone else.

But now he had no choice.

He kept pulling the trigger of his twin pistols, firing back to hold off the two captains.

All around the battlefield, the Shinigami, reenergized, pushed forward with everything they had.

Nanaya, on the other hand, scratched his head and looked puzzled.

"Are you guys sure you don't want help? You all look… kinda weak."

Hearing that, the nearby Shinigami nearly choked on air.

They were risking their lives out here—and Nanaya thought they looked weak?

It was enough to make them want to cry.

But Nanaya really meant it.

Especially after seeing Hitsugaya Tōshirō off in the distance—completely battered.

He was fighting both Grimmjow and the Beast God, and he was covered in blood from head to toe.

"Don't underestimate me!" Sui-Feng shouted.

She wrapped the silver cable of her missile launcher around a tall building, locked onto her target, and fired.

The golden missile streaked across the sky like a blazing beam of light.

It flew at Baraggan at incredible speed—

And then—

BOOM!!!

A deafening explosion rang through the air.

Flames and black smoke surged upward, making it seem like the former King of Hueco Mundo had been completely destroyed.

But—

"Foolish woman."A cold voice echoed from within the smoke.

Baraggan emerged, completely unharmed—even after taking a direct Bankai hit.

Not a scratch on him. Not even his clothes were damaged.

His hollow, skull-like eyes stared down at Sui-Feng with a look of contempt.

"I am the Emperor of Hueco Mundo," he said arrogantly."If Aizen Sōsuke or Nanaya had attacked me, I might understand. But you? Who even are you?"

He looked at her as if she didn't deserve to be on the battlefield.

Sui-Feng was stunned.

"What? My Bankai didn't work…?" Her eyes went wide in disbelief.

Her Shikai, Suzumebachi, kills with two strikes.

Her Bankai, Jakuhō Raikōben, is supposed to kill with just one.

Yet… it had done nothing.

"I said, I am the Emperor of Hueco Mundo!" Baraggan growled again.

With a stomp of his foot, he vanished—and reappeared in front of Sui-Feng in an instant.

Thick black miasma—the power of decay—poured from his body.

At the same time, he raised his massive black axe, wrapped in dark mist, and swung down with lethal force.

Sui-Feng's eyes widened. Without hesitation, she used Shunpo and vanished, narrowly dodging the blow.

"Shua!"

The axe crashed down.

The rooftop she had been standing on split in two, then slowly crumbled into dust, rotting away under the effect of Baraggan's decay.

Sui-Feng inhaled sharply. She had never expected him to be this powerful after releasing his Resurrección.

Just as the black mist was about to engulf her—

"Still too weak," Nanaya said quietly, shaking his head.

He stepped forward calmly. The Gedo Statue loomed behind him, its towering form growing even more terrifying as it began pulling the tailed beasts into its body.

As the golden chains tightened, each tailed beast was absorbed into the statue.

Its spiritual pressure swelled, growing more overwhelming by the second.

As the dark mist reached for Sui-Feng, Nanaya's Rinnegan glowed faintly.

"Universal Pull."

An invisible force gripped her and yanked her toward him at high speed.

"—!!"

The air cracked around her. Sui-Feng's eyes widened in shock.

The pull was faster than her Shunpo.

Nanaya caught her effortlessly.

"Told you, you couldn't beat him," he said bluntly. "Even your teacher wouldn't be able to kill that guy."

Sui-Feng frowned but didn't argue. She looked away, scanning the battlefield for any sign of Yoruichi.

"You again!" Baraggan roared.

Seeing Nanaya intervene filled him with rage.

He waved his hand, releasing more of his black mist—the power that decays and destroys everything it touches.

But before it could spread—

"ROAR!!"

The Gedo Statue let out a monstrous cry and raised one of its enormous, deadwood-like hands.

It brought the hand down.

The decaying mist surged upward to meet it—only to be completely erased.

As if the black mist had never existed at all.

Everyone watching was stunned.

Baraggan's eyes went wide.

"What… how?!""My power is the end of all things—nothing escapes decay! Then why… why can that monster's hand ignore aging?!"

"Pathetic," Nanaya scoffed. "You think something like the Gedo Statue can decay?"

The statue's hand came crashing down and struck Baraggan head-on, slamming him into the ground.

"You idiot. You think something like this has a lifespan?"

Nanaya looked down at the crater with contempt.

"This is the Ten Tails' vessel. Soon, it'll become the Ten Tails itself. If you want to talk about its lifespan, it's practically eternal. It has no beginning, and no end."

"Impossible!!" Baraggan roared.

Enraged, he burst out of the crater where his decay had been erased.

In a blur, he charged at Nanaya with terrifying speed—so fast that even the Outer Path Gedo Statue couldn't react.

But Nanaya just smirked.

His Rinnegan shimmered again.

"Limbo: Border Jail."
