Chapter 75 - 75

Chapter Seventy-Five

The timer on the event finally reached zero.

A server-wide announcement echoed through the game.

"Event Ended: Congratulations to the top players!"

Crow felt the familiar hum of excitement in his chest.

He had won.

The screen before him updated.

1st Place: Crow — 212,435,000 Points

2nd Place: ??? — 5,000 Points

3rd Place: ??? — 4,800 Points

He smirked, taking in the vast gap between himself and everyone else.

First place was no surprise to him, but now, it was time for the rewards.

The system continued:

"Reward: 1 Divine Rank Unit."

Crow's fingers hovered over the screen.

He had been expecting one unit, the same as everyone else.

But as the system worked its magic, the message shifted.

"You have been lucky: You have earned 2 Divine Rank Units."

A new portal materialized in front of Crow, and from within stepped two figures.

They were half-snake, half-human, their bodies covered in scales that shimmered with ethereal beauty.

Seraphis appeared first.

Her snake tail swayed, and her golden eyes glowed with a regal air.

Her serpentine features were sharp, her long black hair cascading down her back.

Her presence exuded an aura of elegance and power, fitting for a divine unit.

Lyra followed closely, her striking green scales glistening like emeralds.

Her hair was a fiery red, flowing down her form.

Unlike Seraphis, Lyra's expression was more mischievous, but her aura was just as commanding.

She gave Crow a slight bow as she approached.

Both units knelt before him.

"Master... We are at your service."

Crow's mind raced.

This was far beyond his expectations. Two divine rank units, both half-snake, half-human, and both powerful in their own right. They could serve as perfect generals in his expanding empire.

He turned to them.

"Rise. You are now part of my army."

Seraphis and Lyra stood, their eyes gleaming with anticipation.

Crow opened the panel to review the rewards and the additional points he had earned.

With all the points collected, there were many ways to spend them.

But first...

He turned his attention back to the two divine units.

"Seraphis. Lyra. You are mine now. You will lead my forces. I expect nothing less than complete loyalty and power."

Both units nodded.

"Of course, Master."

"We will not disappoint you."

As Crow watched them retreat into the shadows, he felt the weight of the event's end settle into his thoughts.

There was no time to waste.

The world was going to change, and he would be at the center of it.

And now, with Seraphis and Lyra at his side, he had just gained two more powerful allies in his growing empire.
