Ready or not... the Future was here. The Future was... Now.
In the end, results were the main thing.
But Bob had realised something. He didn't just want results. He wanted...
to actually make the world better.
The only question was: what did a better world actually look like?
Was it a world where no-one went hungry?
A world where everyone could have freedom and opportunities?
"Rare is it to be born a human; rarer still is it to have heard of Enlightenment; and rarest of all is to choose to pursue Enlightenment..."
This was the classic quote, and yet the path was strewn with the corpses of 'the Seekers' - arguably the most 'Aware', if not the best of Mankind - many of whom ultimately fell short on their journey to attain transcendence.
What would make Bob any different?
There were many problems afflicting the world.
Despite having enough resources for all, People would fight due to their inherent natures, due to the need for people in power to control the masses for their own agendas, based on the limitations of Human Awareness and the foibles of human nature - greed, lust, pride and so on.
Elevating the Consciousness - the Awareness of People would unquestionably be a start - a step in the right direction through providing Education and Opportunities.
But what was the next step in the Plan? Let's say he succeeded with his [Sperm Bank Scholarship] and Education and Training Academy initiative. Then what?
With enough awareness, Bob hoped that the world would become better. A change from the inside-out.
Valentine closed his eyes. All the rational analysis, history itself, would tell the same story - in the end, humans would still do terrible things, misguided things, and yet also be capable of acts of greatness, self-sacrifice, kindness, breakthroughs and intentions that truly did make the world a better place.
Systems would need to be created afterwards - that improved on the limitations of democracy, but underpinning all systems... was of course, [Intention] - and he hoped that through Education and Training, the Future of Humanity would become increasingly brighter, as increasingly Aware people saw the futility and weaknesses of the Human Ego, and instead steered the ship towards a more peaceful, joyful world.
But this was all of course in theory.
In reality, who knew what would happen?
But at the very least, Humanity would have the choice?!
