Whilst all this was taking place, Bob was as usual wrapping up his study, pushups, sit-ups, squats, strength, flexibility, skill, cardio and Rizz, Bizz, Touch, and Talent training, attend University, and of course now going through the best way to explain to his Allie what was going on with his plans for World Domination and his Alter Egos.
Hmm... he was also currently hungry, but he made himself a sandwich, ate it, and immediately felt better.
Make no mistake. He wanted Allie to be cool with it.
But how?!
The irony was that in the end, there were no guarantees.
But even so, it had to be done.

The day came.
Outside the University Research Centre.
Bob was there as usual, early, prepared, ready.
It was better to be early than late, and this would allow him to visualise, to give this occasion the full focus that it deserved.
First of all, he had to be absolutely clear in his own mind what he was doing.
His goal was to become a genetic success, to achieve World Domination.
It was his calling, like Ludvig von Beetroot was called to write symphonies and grow a special reddish root vegetable, or Pickasso painted artworks whilst… doing whatever else that he enjoyed doing.
He wanted to take things further with Allie, he knew about the deceptive fallacy of "the grass is always greener on the other side" - in truth, he knew - as a matter of fact, his life was a testament to the very fact - that the grass was greenest where you watered it.
Beauty truly was in the eye of the beholder. Superficial appearances, youth, looks would fade, but some things were about choices, trust, mutual support, affirmation and inspiration, and genuine connection, all of which was priceless.
The time came.
Allie had come as promised… along with a girlfriend (yes, it was Rowena in disguise, though Bob, not being OP, didn't know that of course.)
Oh. She looked good as usual!
