RAIN POV
It had been weeks.
Weeks of sweat, fire, bruises, chanting, endless nights, and tears I would never admit to shedding. And finally—I had done it.
I had mastered my power.
And believe me, it was worth every damn second.
If someone had told me a few months ago that I'd be calling down moonlight like lightning, or healing cuts with a touch, or standing in a circle of witches with fire bursting from my hands—I would've laughed right in their face. Hell, I probably would've spit at their boots for lying so boldly.
But here I was. The Starborn.
And to be fair, I had Seraphina and her sisters to thank for it. Sure, they were a pain in the ass—bossy, cryptic, always acting like they were the only ones who knew the truth—but they gave me everything they had. And I… well, I gave them hell. I was stubborn, reckless, impatient. I knew it. But I wasn't going to let anyone break me. Not again.
Still… I couldn't deny it. Without them, I wouldn't have survived.
