The silence after what Ciaran said wasn't just heavy—it was volcanic. It pressed into the room, thick and threatening, like the air before a thunderstorm. My breath caught in my throat as I tried to process his words.
"She can not keep running between us," Ciaran growled, his voice sharp with frustration. "It's tearing everything apart."
Roarke stepped forward, arms crossed tightly, his dark brows low. "And whose fault is that, huh? You were the one who left for two weeks without a single word."
Kael, who had been standing in the corner with his hands buried in his pockets, finally spoke. "He's right. You're not blameless, Ciaran."
My heart pounded in my chest. "Can you guys not fight over me like I'm some sort of… property?"
