"Loki, I will help you become the ruler of Asgard and king of the gods, and you will start a war with the Frost Giants. It's easy, isn't it?"
"I thank you for helping me contact the ruler of the Jotunheim and borrow an army. Once I sit on the throne, I will fulfill my promise. Only one of Asgard and the Frost Giants can survive." Loki smiled.
"Pleasure working with you."
"Pleasure working with you."
The son of the God of War and Odin's adopted son secretly plotted a rebellion against Asgard.
Meanwhile, Diana was shackled and locked up in Asgard's prison. This prison could withstand divine power attacks, so even though Diana possessed divine artifacts, she couldn't escape.
"My dear sister, don't look at me like that." Trax, inheriting the War God's flowing silver hair, had brown skin and a chiselled, handsome face, but his brown eyes exuded an aura of evil.
"You idiot. Do you really think Loki will cooperate with you? He will become the ruler of Asgard, and you will be exiled by him." Diana punched the transparent Asgardian barrier separating them, but it was useless.
"My sister, do you think I would really cooperate with that pitiful adopted son?" Trax smirked. "I know his intentions. Loki only wants to put on a show to prove his abilities in front of Odin. He's trying to replace Thor. I know his thoughts very clearly. I inherited our mother's intelligence, so I don't trust Loki."
Trax continued confidently in front of Diana, "I will use Loki to kill Odin and the King of Jotunheim. When both sides lose their leaders and go to war out of anger, I will crown myself as the new War God. I will surpass my father and mother to become the greatest War God in the entire universe, spreading war to every corner."
Diana didn't expect her brother to be like this. Since leaving Themyscira, Trax had been watching her, and when she was alone, he decisively ambushed and captured her. Now, the Lasso of Truth had become Trax's trophy.
Her own brother, Trax, had no intention of harming her, but wanted her to witness his success.
"You won't succeed," Diana said firmly.
Trax wasn't angry. "Wait until I become the War God. I'll tell you then."
Diana stayed in the prison, punching and kicking the walls, but it was all in vain. It was hard to believe that such a despicable person was her brother. Diana told herself that when she got out, she would defeat him.
Meanwhile, on Earth, Thor had grown accustomed to his human form and was willing to accept Odin's punishment. However, his style remained unchanged—drinking in large bowls and eating meat with big bites.
"Liu, drink more," Thor said as he and Liu A'dou drank together. Liu A'dou didn't mind; after all, he had been through the Amazonian warrior's endurance training. He wasn't afraid of a mere god.
After several rounds, Thor, now in a human body, couldn't drink as much as Liu A'dou. Thor became somewhat drunk. "Liu, you are the wisest person I've met. Sometimes, your words make more sense than my father's. When I become the ruler of Asgard, I'll have you as my right-hand man, helping me rule Asgard. How about it?"
"Of course," Liu A'dou thought to himself, "Sure, it sounds good for now." His current plan was to make as many friends as possible. This was a secret from Thomas, an old colleague at the TV station. More friends meant more news. Liu A'dou didn't care much about the news, but more friends meant more information. That's what he needed most—information.
"I believe you'll be a good king, Thor. You're kind and strong. I'll help you," Liu A'dou responded with enthusiasm.
"Great, let's drink more."
Liu A'dou managed to drink Thor under the table and had to carry the giant back to the research lab.
Before the drinking, the lab had been empty because the scientists were absorbed in their research. After all, it was Thor's hammer, and if they could discover something, it could rewrite history and maybe even win a Nobel Prize.
However, after drinking, they returned to the lab to find the scientists had returned.
"What happened to Thor?" Jane rushed over to help him. She was quite taken with the handsome god.
"He got drunk. By the way, why aren't you at the hammer?"
Daisy rolled her eyes. "Don't ask. We were kicked out. A bunch of government people said they had to protect the hammer and forced us out."
Jane struggled to help Thor to the bedroom and then returned to the living room, sitting in silence with the others.
"What should we do?" Daisy asked angrily. "Who are these people?"
"I once heard a friend who studied gamma rays say that they are from S.H.I.E.L.D., an organization that handles classified events. But after he told me that, he disappeared. I've never seen him again." Eric's words left the group with an even worse impression of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Indeed, it was S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, Liu A'dou thought to himself, this scene was just like the one in his memories. But he had been prepared. That night, he had already planted a listening device under Thor's hammer, and now was the perfect time to use it.
Liu A'dou stood up and said, "A secret organization, interesting. I need to see if there's any news."
"Liu, you want to go back? It's too dangerous. They have weapons."
"Don't worry, I'm a journalist. Do you think they'll shoot me for interfering with press freedom?" Liu A'dou said before leaving. No one followed him; after all, they didn't want to return.
Liu A'dou ran quickly down the main road, then suddenly powered up and soared into the sky. His control over his Microcosmos was becoming more proficient, and his flight was freer than ever.
In no time, Liu A'dou arrived at a secluded dirt mound, the perfect location to pick up the signals from his listening device.
In just half a day, S.H.I.E.L.D. had used special resin material to encase Thor's hammer inside a tent-like structure. Several vehicles carrying generators were supplying electricity to floodlights and protective shields nearby. The operation was impressively fast.
Through the translucent resin, shadowy figures could be seen, and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had already taken their positions.
"Lieutenant Hans, tonight you'll go to Dr. Eric's lab and take all the data," said Phil Coulson, the short man with many devious ideas.
"Yes." Although he was ordered to steal, Lieutenant Hans didn't hesitate at all, clearly accustomed to such tasks.
S.H.I.E.L.D. had begun researching the hammer, but Liu A'dou knew they wouldn't find much.
Hans? Still a lieutenant? Liu A'dou remembered something from the memory card. There was a Lieutenant Hans who had provided important intelligence twice, saving the country's overseas intelligence network.
Perhaps he should contact this Lieutenant Hans and exchange information.
Thinking of it, Liu A'dou quietly slipped into Hans's car. After the car had driven a fair distance, Liu A'dou suddenly sat up from the back seat. "Lieutenant Hans."
Hans was startled. "Who is it?" But because it was dark, Liu A'dou remained hidden in the back seat, making it impossible for the rearview mirror to make out his face.
"Keep driving, don't stop. You don't even recognize my voice?" Liu A'dou used the voice of the person who was killed by Leopard Head.
Hans froze. The voice seemed familiar, then he remembered. "You're Wen Fenghuang?"
Liu A'dou couldn't believe that a middle-aged man had such a codename. "Lieutenant Hans's memory is quite good."
"Wen Fenghuang, didn't you forget we can't meet?" Hans said.
"Sorry, I couldn't help it. Back in Gotham, I was seriously injured by Liangshan's people. It was only recently that I remembered some things, and I put in a lot of effort to find you," Liu A'dou explained.
"You lost your memory?"
"Exactly, but it's no big deal. I'm not here to talk about my memory loss. I have crucial intelligence, but I don't know how to pass it on."
"You really seem to have lost your memory. You're my superior. How would I know how you pass on intelligence?" Hans replied.
"So, after I've been missing for so long, no new contacts have reached out to you?" Liu A'dou asked.
"No, it's only me looking for you. This is the first time a superior has contacted me."
Liu A'dou didn't expect Wen Fenghuang to be a high-ranking officer.
"This is perfect. How do you contact your superiors? I've lost my memory for a long time. The higher-ups should have sent someone new. Give me your contact information," Liu A'dou asked.
"Sorry, that's against the rules." Hans didn't trust Liu A'dou.
"Do you know about the Japanese Navy incident?"
Although the news was sealed, the public didn't know, but Hans, as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, knew the inside story. "Are you talking about the U.S. military destroying the J-20? The tensions between China and the U.S. are due to the truth behind that incident being hard to uncover. The U.S. pilot who suddenly attacked is still missing, and the other captured pilot hasn't given any answers. What information do you have?"
"I know where the other pilot is. You go contact your superiors, and have them meet me. I'll confront them directly." Liu A'dou said, "The meeting place is in New York, here's my phone number, they can contact me directly." Liu A'dou handed over a folded paper.
Hans took the paper and glanced at the back seat, realizing it was empty. How did he disappear? Hans was stunned.
Liu A'dou, having jumped out of the car, watched it drive away, thinking to himself that this was the best he could do for now.
