Chapter 9 - Fire In The Shadows (Chap 9)

The next day, the underground station buzzed with life.

Once a symbol of a forgotten Tokyo, the subway station now radiated with purpose. Lights powered by stolen generators, illuminated maps, medical crates, and modified Knightmare blueprints were spread out through the hideout. The Black Knights were rebuilding their army.

Lelouch, clad once more in the dark cloak of Zero, stepped into the center of the hideout.

The soldiers stood straighter when he entered. Recruits saluted. Officers nodded with quiet respect. His presence struck faith and fear into their hearts at the same time.

"Ohgi," Zero said, voice cool and controlled.

He didn't need to say more as Ohgi got the message.

"We've secured more supplies from the Ikebukuro depot," Ohgi replied. "Fuel, armor plating, and three more pilots joined up this morning."

"And the wounded from Narita?"

"Five stable. Three lost." Ohgi's expression flickered. "They're holding a small toast in the back to boost their morale. God knows we need it."

Zero nodded. "Let them celebrate. We'll need their loyalty tomorrow even more than we did yesterday." Ohgi nodded and went to work on something else.

The victory had cost them, but it had made the Black Knights' reputation increase as a fearsome group not to be messed with in any circumstance. The Britannia government is certainly on edge which is exactly what Lelouch wanted out of them. He wanted them to feel fear for once.

He walked among them in silence, watching, thinking.

And then he saw her.

Kallen.

She leaned against a steel column, jacket unzipped, skin gleaming with the heat of the celebration. A drink in her hand, smile on her lips. He noticed her eyes were already on him before he noticed her.

She stepped forward.

"Zero," she said. "We need to talk."

He tilted his head.

She led him away from the others, deeper into the station, until the lights dimmed and the echoes of laughter vanished behind old concrete. The only noise being the sound of their breaths.

They stopped in a maintenance alcove.

"What is it?" he asked.

Kallen turned to him, pressing her back to the wall, one boot against the steel.

"I've fought beside you. Killed for you. And I still don't know who you are truly, Zero."

His voice didn't change. "That's by design. It is meant for my and your protection."

She stepped closer. "It shouldn't be. You inspire people. But you're just a shadow in a mask."

Zero stayed still.

"And I keep wondering," she continued, undoing a button on her shirt, "what kind of man hides behind it."

Her fingers brushed against his chest. She circled him slowly, letting her hands drag over the fabric of his uniform, her lips brushing close to his ear.

"I wonder what kind of man you are… when the mask comes off."

Her voice sent heat down his spine.

Lelouch's breath caught.

Her jacket and shirt slid halfway down her shoulders now. Her skin flushed in the dim light. Her curves practically glowed with tension and tease. He couldn't look away.

Snap.

His fingers gripped her wrist and pinned her to the wall.

Her breath hitched.

The room pulsed with heat.

"I'm dangerous," he said. His face a centimeter away from hers.

"You shouldn't want to know more."

"I do," she whispered as she bit her lip and glanced at his lips with her eyes.

Her eyes then locked back with Lelouch's hungry eyes.

Their lips hovered close, parted slightly. Kallen's red hair shimmered in the low lights of the maintenance alcove. She wasn't a soldier in this moment. She was just a girl on fire who wanted Lelouch to burn her with everything he has.

Lelouch used his fingers to gently raise Kallen's chin up, forcing her to continue to look into his eyes. He took his mask off. He then quickly used his Geass, the familiar red energy sparking in his left eye. "When we leave this alcove, you will completely forget my face and you won't tell anybody. You will only remember what we did and that it was with Zero. Now, what do you want from me now that you have seen the true me?"

Kallen's eyes widened. "I want you to kiss and fuck me right now. Show me who you truly are, Zero. You are even more handsome without the mask."

Before Lelouch could respond, Kallen grabbed him by the collar and pulled him in, their lips connecting. He responded by grabbing her waist, his thumbs digging into the edge of her waistband as he pulled her harder against him. He pressed her more into the wall as his body took over.

Kallen moaned softly into his mouth, grinding up into him, her hips moving in slow deliberate circles. He was already hard beneath his uniform. The friction between them made it impossible to ignore. Lelouch felt her wetness through the fabric of her tight shorts. Kallen tilted her hips up, grinding back and forth on his dick as they continued to make out.

"You're not what I expected," she softly moaned in between kisses.

"You're exactly what I feared," he growled.

He lifted Kallen from the ground and pressed her back into the wall. Her legs instinctively wrapped around him as he quickly took out his throbbing cock and entered it into her wet craving vagina. Kallen clung to him, her fingers digging into the fabric at his shoulders as he thrusted into her. Every grind of his hips sent a shock of heat through her spine.

She moaned again and tilted her head back in pleasure. Her eyes rolled back.

He rocked his hips into her again, slow and hard, making her whimper. Her legs squeezed tighter. Her hands gripped harder. She brought her blue eyes down to look back at Lelouch. Their foreheads pressed together. Their breath and bodies trembled.

Kallen moaned even louder as Lelouch thrusted deeper into her. He covered her moans with his lips as he savored every part of her. Her breasts squished up against his heated chest as the intensity picked up. Kallen felt Lelouch hit every sensitive spot within her as euphoria took over her. Her vagina contracted at the same time he spilled into her.

It took everything out of both of them not to have their moans echo outside of the alcove into the abandoned subway station. They stopped grinding against each other. They stayed connected with each other for a moment as Lelouch let Kallen down. She felt like she could barely stand after what they both just did.

Lelouch put on his uniform and mask again. He helped Kallen dress up again. As she was fixing her hair, Lelouch put on his mask again and left the maintenance room, causing Kallen to completely forget Zero's face, but not what they have done and how close they got.

Lelouch sighed and chuckled to himself as he left the Black Knights hideout and took his mask off from a safe distance. He has to take responsibility for his actions even though it's not his fault how irresistible Kallen could be to him. He can protect her closely as Zero better than he can as Lelouch.

He walked away.
