Claude pursed his lips. Verena had just confirmed a few things without saying it out loud. The young man then took a deep breath and spoke more softly, "Madam, is Mr Andrei the same wolf who infected Irving's mom? Len said so. Shouldn't we tell him that Irving has been taken?"
"Do you want to ask for his help to find Irving and your friend?"
"Yes. I don't have eyes outside of the pack." Claude looked up at her. "Those hunters had done so many atrocious things. I can't imagine them being any kinder to my friends."
Verena pursed her lips and took out her phone. She fiddled with it and pressed a button. Her eyes moved to look at Claude's serious face. "We might be a little too late. He just asked me if Irving happened to leave the manor without Len."
Claude perked his head up. His smile even fought the urge to show. "He saw them? He wouldn't ask if he didn't see someone resembling Irving, right?"
