The all-encompassing tsunami dealt a devastating blow to the entire Langton City.
The inner city, fortunately, had the old city walls to block it, so it did not immediately face the terrifying tsunami directly.
Moreover, the terrain is relatively high, coupled with the outer city as a buffer, except for areas near the river channels being hit by the rising tides, the situation in other regions is relatively not too severe.
The tide did indeed flood into the city and did indeed submerge the streets, but it did not completely immerse the buildings on both sides of the street. Most of the people managed to evacuate to higher ground in time, with only a few swept away by the waters.
