This instantly attracted the eyes of the people around. The groundhog realized he was exposed, and immediately grabbed with both hands, pulling the satchel off her arm and ran away.
"Please help me catch him," the girl cried urgently.
But no one stepped forward, all just stared wide-eyed at the scene of the robbery.
The groundhog was extremely excited, sprinting as he shoved aside the people blocking his way, skillfully weaving through the gaps in the crowd, and in just a short moment, he had run dozens of meters away, seemingly about to disappear into the crowd.
A sound of "whoosh" came from behind, and almost simultaneously, the groundhog felt a sting in the bend of his leg, a burst of paralysis followed. His knee gave out, and he fell to the ground with a face-first slide.
It might have been because he charged too fast earlier; after falling, he slid forward on his face for a meter. His face and palms were scraped.
