Sitting in a bedroom by the table, Luna gripping the feather after dipping it into the ink, she wrote a letter to Aria.
"Sister, I feel really lonely without you. It's been so long since I last saw you.
I know that your letters will be late but still it makes me sad to not hear anything from you"
Luna wiped the ink off the feather tip into a handkerchief, while exhaling, her gaze falling upon her hand as they trembled, unknown how and why to Luna. She tightened her hand into a fist and let go.
Dipping the tip into the ink bottle nearby, to her left she continued writing "I wonder if you made up with dad, I think he didn't do anything wrong, so please forgive him and tell him that I miss him and you all.
Anyway, I had made a friend here, in the elven country. She is a crown princess of the queendom, Elwing, we immediately became friends after our first meeting" Luna wrote chuckling to herself before continuing.
"She told me to call her El, me and Theia we've been visiting her regularly, It's fun here, but still I wish you'd been here
I will always miss you, wrote to you, Luna." Luna bent the letter in half and placed it into an envelope, With a kiss she sealed it and placed it on top of another she had written, To Aisha.
She sighed and stood up walking towards Theia, who still was sleeping all across the bed, her arms wide spread from side to side.
Luna slowly walked towards her in silence as a sudden echo broke the silence.
A howling of wolves echoed through the forest as a gurgling sound followed, as if something was drowning, a deep throat sound of a suffocating beast filled with liquid. Yet again it happened, Luna stopped questioning it after the third time it happened this month.
walking up to the bed, she got on it, crawling onto theia's chest and placing the white duvet over them, she inhaled slowly and exhaled as she closed her eyes.
An almost unbearable feeling arose in her heart, and a burning sensation on the back of her back. She thought , Maybe the voices are right…, smiling as she gripped tightly on Theia's white dress muttering "You are mine, and only mine…"
A voice from the inside of Luna's head echoed, "This peace won't last, seize it when there is still time to do so," But Luna ignored it, and went to sleep, peacefully atop her.
***
Inside a dream, Luna was falling down from the sky, alongside the rain, like a wounded swan, diving involuntarily towards the ground, knowing its fate, but refusing to believe it.
This dream keeps on coming back, this one is way calmer than the previous one I had.
Even though I know it's a dream, I can't do anything about it…
Luna fell with tremendous speed, rain digging into her skin, crashing into the ground. Her blood splattered across the plains. In the same second, a thousand copies of her hit too, bathing the green grass in bloody red, turning it into a hellish parade of death, a telltale scent of tragedy.
It hurts, each time I hit the ground it slowly repeats, until I wake up, everytime I hit the ground voices appear, taunting me to possess anyone close to me, make them mine, I hate it, for hours, every hour, always they are… Why?
"Theia was she? She is yours, you know it" A four figures standing around Luna on each side, On every image of Luna, spreading across the horizon.
"Why? Why don't you want them to be in love with you? you can make them do whatever you want, pleasure, convenience, it would be easier this way, no?" the voice continued, every figure spoke in the same way, tone and words.
"Huh, why? I don't understand"
At this time a time began to rewind, slowly the blood splattered around Luna's body began coming back to her, like a metal to a magnet, it rebuilt itself and in an instant Luna accelerated into the skies ,The figures looked up after Luna.
"You already know how this ends. You always do.…"
And that's how it happens every single time, I fall, my body splatters on the ground, the voices taunt me and the time rewinds, just to repeat again, for hours, Luna thought as tears began to fall down her cheek,
I miss my old dreams…This hurts. The pain… Luna immediately stopped accelerating, following with a whiplash of her body, stopping in the same place where she started falling from, thousands of her across the horizon all looked at themselves saying "I hate the pain…" As the cycle began again.
***
Luna fell from the bed, hitting the wooden floor as her body shook, covered in deep sweat, she swallowed her saliva, and felt tears trickled down her cheek, she gripped her chest as she murmured "I need to… stop sleeping as much…"
A bruise formed across her forehead as pain reached her immediately. She covered the wound with her hand and almost went to bandage it but thought, What if I wake up Theia and show her it? A smile grew on her face but Luna dismissed it shaking her head from side to side.
No that's not right?
Luna stood up and walked into the living room, in the northern part of the room the drawer by the doors to the kitchen, within the top cabinet, was held a ball of bandages, she unwrapped some and took with herself, walking into the kitchen with it in hands.
She poured a cup of water and placed it on the table in the living room, and sat on the wooden chair by it.
Cleaning the bruise with a handkerchief she noticed that blood stained it, she frowned and sighed, "It was a more serious fall than I thought… I didn't see it before…"
After cleaning the wound, Luna poured some water onto the handkerchief and stuck it on to her forehead, after folding it twice, and wrapped it with the bandages she acquired.
and at the end of the bandage, by her right temple she tied it into a cute, small bow. Luna grinned from ear to ear pushing her eyes tightly up as she blushed.
Luna looked out the window and saw that it was still midnight, so she sat in Mytri's brown leathery sofa and covered herself with a blanket, watching the moon that keeps on covering and uncovering itself with clouds, it was really soothing to Luna.
She decided to stay up and forget about sleeping for the day.
The moon this night in action really resembled Luna as she sat on Mytri's sofa.
