I've been trying to shake things up for two days now. Five hours ago, I was able to open a gap, but unfortunately it led to ground-2, which was not good. Of course, that was a plus, it meant I was close enough, all I had to do was work hard. So I decided to boost the frequency of space vibrations and try to contact the other world. And so, after about two hours, I almost succeeded.....
With a loud curse, I concentrated all the energy and increased the vibrations. After which...
*♪ W-z-z-z ♪
A gap finally opened in front of me, and I let out a long breath, but I kept my hands up. I had to maintain it, too, but I couldn't do it with my mind. But in the future I might be able to. Reverb's words about blowing up my head with my mind were quite feasible. At least I think so, in theory it's possible. Especially if we can create some sort of amplifier.
Now I wanted to check if I had opened the right place, but later I changed my mind, lowered my hands and started lowering the frequency of vibrations. The portal closed in a matter of seconds....
It wasn't time yet, opening it a second time would be much easier. After a few tries, I could open a portal to the ground or two with one hand in a couple of seconds. So it wouldn't be a problem, either, I'd have to practice a bit and everything would be fine.
After spending another two hours practicing, I breathed a sigh of relief. Opening the portal was much easier now. Since I knew the frequency and amount of spatial energy, it wasn't so difficult. Of course, I still needed to check if I had contacted the right place. But first, I needed to prepare myself.
Supergirl Land, the place I wanted to go to in the first place. It's kind of commonly referred to as Earth-38. That's why I was getting Reverb powers. Though of course I would want them without it, but that was one of the main reasons. My home Earth certainly has a lot to offer, but a world inhabited by aliens... Well, I suppose there's a lot more possibilities there. Technology, resources, new powers and more. Plus, whatever I do there won't affect the flashpoint. You could say I could cut out the entire population there and nothing would happen to me. Though, of course, I'm hardly capable of doing that. Superman or Supergirl, they're definitely stronger than me. Even on their own, they'd probably win. Of course using my Atomic Destroyer powers, coupled with teleportation and ice powers, might work. Even Reverb's abilities can be utilized... Even so, I don't think I can win. Their durability and healing is something I can't beat. I'm physically strong, but I don't overestimate myself. Only in my Destroyer form would I be close to them in strength, otherwise, I doubt it. My suit might take a few hits, but it can't take a good dose of laser vision. So I have no intention of throwing myself into open combat. And I don't want to forget about speed and flight capabilities. Supergirl may not be as fast as Flash, but that's good enough for me. It's not like Zoom, and there's a Martian Manhunter and a bunch of other creatures.
I don't mind having fun, but I'll be careful. Kara's even more naive than Barry, so she's got a lot more weaknesses I can exploit and win. But, like Flash, I don't intend to clash with her, maybe fight a few times at most. I just need a few things from her that I'll gladly take when the time comes.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that I know far less about Kara's world than I do about all the others. I've seen three seasons of Flash, four seasons of Arrow, and only one season of Supergirl. With Legends, the story is a little worse, I've only seen half a season. So the world isn't that well known to me, which is the reason why I insist on the existence of the flashpoint. If for some reason it isn't created, my knowledge could become useless, which I don't really want.
But though I don't know much, I do know something. Kryptonians, a few aliens and interesting creatures, all of whom I would love to study. That's what I'm going to build the prison and research center for. Once we study the DNA of the aliens, who knows what we might be able to do. It would open up a lot of possibilities, especially for me. What's more, the Kryptonians who came to Earth brought with them a wealth of knowledge that I can't help but utilize. The TWO also have a wealth of research I'd love to take. All of this will allow the organization to not only stand on top of the planet, but to enter space and establish dominance there. If I were alone, it would be much more difficult, so the organization is very useful. I intend to take control of this world, at least this planet. After I return, I'll have plenty of work to do.
The first and foremost thing I go there for is, of course, strength. I have a lot of powers, but I can't call myself strong enough to face Superman or any of the stronger creatures. Get an evil Kryptonian into our world and things could have gotten a lot worse than they are now. I'm not going to hope for another Firestorm to come along and sacrifice his life to save others.
Gaining power can be difficult. Unlike meta-humans, aliens are different. Who knows what would happen to me if I ate them... But I was willing to take the risk. At the very least, I was going to eat a minimum of Kryptonian. As for the other aliens, I wasn't sure about that. I didn't want to get a tail or horns. If everything goes right, I won't just get a Kryptonian. I might be able to get several at once. That's what separates them from meta humans, who are often only one of a kind. I can't even imagine what would happen if I took powers from more than one. I just hope it works out. If it doesn't, it'll be too sad...
As for other worlds, I don't care much about them right now. It's also a good option to extract resources from them, which I don't mind doing, but it will be a little later. Now the main task is to go to the world of Supergirl, the rest will be dealt with later.
