Chapter 60 - Buckle up.

"Arghhh....I feel like my bones and joints are scattered everywhere..."

Yaya grumbled as he threw his body into YuanYuan's lap.

"That's because you play more than practice."

LinLin said sarcastically. Really looking for trouble. Yaya gaze fiercely at LinLin. LinLin also out of breath there. Yaya cracking a sinister grinned.

"Aren't I playing with you?"

Yaya slapped LinLin's arm roughly.

"Because you're too annoying."

LinLin responded with a kangaroo-level slap on Yaya's thigh.

"Arghhh!!!! Help me YuanYuan...I'm being bullied by an alien..."

Yaya said in his laughter.

"Ha!?"

LinLin felt dissatisfied and was ready to launch his second attack.

"If you two want to fight, please don't do it on my lap."

Hearing that from YuanYuan's mouth, Yaya and LinLin looked at each other. Grinning naughtily. Yaya sat down before the two of them ganged up on YuanYuan together.

"Hey! What are you two doing? Let go of me...hahaha...stop it...hey...."

LinLin and Yaya didn't pay attention to YuanYuan's words and continued to tickle YuanYuan while laughing out loud.

YuanYuan, who was wiggling his body like a caterpillar to free himself from the both of them, also laughed until his eyes teary. When Yaya and LinLin fight, it really makes YuanYuan have a headache, but when they make up it makes him even more headache.

Bam!!!

"Ah!!!"

Everyone's laughter died suddenly.

Turned to the direction from where that very unpleasant sound came from.

Their eyes caught on XiangXiang who was already lying on the floor.

"XiangXiang!!!!"

Everyone ran towards XiangXiang with their hearts beating fast like thunder in the sky that came with a tornado. Their faces also turned pale. Even if they were cut, they probably wouldn't bleed even a drop. Especially for WenWen who was already sitting next to XiangXiang while holding his shoulder tightly. The same goes for JiaJia and XinXin. They almost cried watching XiangXiang who was in pain.

"XiangXiang... where does it hurt?"

Wu Ya asked after he managed to calm everyone and himself down.

"My hand..."

XiangXiang said between tears and laughter. Too painful to laugh, but too embarrassing to cry. So he did both at once so the others wouldn't worry too much about him.

"Your hand? Okay...calm down..."

Wu Ya said, trying to calm XiangXiang. But in fact, he was paler than XiangXiang. His hands were shaking and his voice was trembling.

"You should calm yourself down first. I've called an ambulance. Don't worry, everything will be fine. XiangXiang, hold on for a while, okay?"

JiaJia said. He knew Wu Ya still hadn't managed to overcome his fear after he suffered an injury that nearly left him paralyzed.

Wu Ya nodded listlessly as he stared blankly at XiangXiang who was lying on the cold gym floor and groaned in pain. His spine started to hurt again. It felt like just yesterday he had fallen from a high stage while performing 'Rising Sun'.

Now what Wu Ya feared the most had happened. He didn't know what to do anymore. His mind was blank, his heart was as hard as stone. Only God knew how much it hurt. His whole body went numb.

The ambulance arrived and XiangXiang was taken to the hospital. WenWen went with him to be with him during this difficult time in his life. Because that was WenWen's promise to XiangXiang. Always be with him in good times and bad, in sickness and in health.

They will not be separated until death separates them.

XinXin also went with them. His job is to take care of WenWen. He was confident that WenWen could take care of XiangXiang, but he wasn't confident that WenWen could manage everything at the hospital later. After all, WenWen is still too young for that. His mind is still immature. Who would expect a boy who has just turned eighteen to be responsible in such an emergency? That's what XinXin thought.

Pap!

"Stay lit bro.."

JiaJia slapped Wu Ya's back as hard as he could. Awakening Wu Ya from his deep melancholy.

"XiangXiang is a strong person. Trust him. If you, as his teacher become like this, how would you bring him out of his sadness with what happened today?"

Silent.

"You know what XiangXiang's personality is like, right? If you look too sad like this, he'll blame himself. And you know it won't be good."

Silent. "Haaa.. who would have thought that managing adults would be more difficult than managing kids."

"Do you want me to call Su Ruan to come?"

Wu Ya quickly shook his head. He didn't want Su Ruan to worry about him. Su Ruan had already sacrificed a lot to make him recover as he is now. It would be very unfair if he continued to be a burden to Su Ruan.

"So what are you waiting for? Buckle up and act as a teacher. Give him your full support so he will recover as soon as possible."

JiaJia encourages Wu Ya not to continue sinking into his endless abyss. Let what has passed remain as memories and use it as a guide so that things like this can be avoided from happening again. What is important now is to continue moving towards a brighter future and won't make the same mistake again.

JiaJia gazing each of his juniors' faces, which looked anxious. Now, his job is to encourage them. It's not an easy task. Because some of them might feel scared if the same thing happens to them. But he has to take that responsibility.

Injuries during training or performances are not something that can be expected or avoided. Even for professionals. It can happen anytime and anywhere. All they can do is always be vigilant, practice a lot, and learn the correct way to do everything they are going to do. Apart from that, they only rely on God will.

"Everyone! Our training is over for today. You can go home now."

Those were the only words that could come out of JiaJia's mouth. And he began to wonder, why an introvert like him was left to manage this. What should he say? What words would be appropriate in this situation so that everyone understands and it doesn't cause panic?

"Is brother XiangXiang will be fine?"

Shu Xin asked wistfully. Seeing his beloved senior endure such pain truly tore his heart apart. JiaJia smile. Finally, an angel asked and saved him from that heavy feeling.

"Don't worry. He's a strong person. Besides, your big bro WenWen is always by his side to take care of him. As long as they're together, they will be fine. Trust me kid"

JiaJia said. He could smell Shu Xin's hidden feelings towards XiangXiang. It's better for this pure kid to give up now than for him to be disappointed later.
