Enraged, Amphisbaena launched another coordinated attack. Xin leaped to avoid being devoured by one mouth, but he realized too late as another head prepared a water jet aimed at Xin.
He had to dodge the precise shot, but he was still hit because the attack's range was broader than his evasion ability.
*Crack*
He fell against one of the walls next to the lake, losing his sword into the water. Xin got up and saw the dragon moving relentlessly toward him.
He quickly muttered his spell, then began to heal, anticipating his opponent's approach and preparing to launch more lightning at the adversary.
"Lightning Spell/Thunder!"
"Lightning Spell/Thunder!"
He cast his lightning so quickly that not even Amphisbaena could react, being hit by the strike while in the water, causing more damage as the electrical force traveled through the area.
"He can cast healing magic! Look how quickly he heals, I thought he would give up!" Tiona exclaimed.
"...," Riveria simply looked stunned, watching Xin emerge from the wreckage while healing before unleashing new lightning bolts.
The battle still seemed to continue, leaving an atmosphere charged with suspense and uncertainty about the outcome of this epic subterranean showdown.
Seeing that his adversary continued heading towards him, Xin began running among the stones on the surface, and Amphisbaena quickly followed with hatred for the pain this human caused him.
Xin wasted no time and started placing traps along the way as he ran efficiently, trying not to be crushed by the monster chasing him. Soon, the environment was filled with traps, causing a chain reaction as soon as Amphisbaena touched the first one.
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
*Lightning*
Amphisbaena, irritated and clearly displeased at being the target of Xin's relentless lightning, showed evident signs of weakening against the element that was unfavorable to it.
Its contorted body and scales sparkled under the constant electrical assault, revealing the monster's vulnerability to Xin's magic.
In a reactive move, Amphisbaena lunged with a powerful water jet towards Xin, hitting him with force and causing him to collide against the corridor walls.
The pressurized water enveloped the God, creating an impact that reverberated through the cavernous stones. Emerging from the wreckage, Xin, even injured, did not let himself be discouraged and retaliated immediately.
Once again, channeling his magic, Xin released electric chains with the Chain Lightning spell. The snaking sparks sought to envelop Amphisbaena, attempting to immobilize the immense movements of the aquatic dragon. The strategy was clear: limit the monster's mobility to avoid direct attacks.
However, Amphisbaena's cunning was not slow to manifest. Realizing that it couldn't easily reach Xin amid the electric chains, the dragon halted its abrupt movements. Its two mouths approached, emitting a sinister glow as they charged energy for a devastating attack.
Xin, sensing the imminent threat, felt the weight of the situation. Amphisbaena, concentrating a massive amount of energy in its mouths, prepared to launch a direct shot that could be fatal.
A sense of urgency took over Xin, urging him to act quickly to avoid the worst.
