"What is taking her so long to return?". Kingston said. He has been standing ever since Paola left the living room.
He was feeling too restless to sit down.
Hearing the sounds of footsteps made him and Georgia stare in the direction the sound was coming from. "Piper". Kingston said and was approaching the direction the footsteps were coming from. He halted when he arrived in the second living room only to see that it was grandpa Dario.
Grandpa Dario was surprised when he saw Kingston.
"What are you doing here unannounced, son-in-law?". He asked, before he added, "Was it Georgia who called you to come?".
Since Kingston hadn't yet replied to his question, grandpa Dario didn't see the need to speak around the bush. So he straightforwardly told Kingston what was in his mind, "If you are here to take Piper away against her own will, just know that I won't let you take her away, even though you are her father".
