"Master, Little Mi recommends you fuse this miraculous item first. It contains the essence of Chaos. Pair it with this one infused with Yin power, and this other infused with Yang power, and you'll be able to construct the Tai Chi Altar."
As he spoke, Little Mi pulled out three items.
One was a dull gray stone, while the other two were a pair of jade stones—one pitch black and the other pure white. At a glance, none of them appeared extraordinary.
"Miraculous items capable of forming a Tai Chi Altar? Incredible!"
Yi Tianxing did not hesitate for even a moment. A Tai Chi Altar, once constructed, could serve as one of the most fundamental cores of his entire altar structure.
Soon, the Tai Chi Altar was complete. It consumed a significant amount of Innate Purple Qi, but it was entirely worth it. The altar shone with three ancient glyphs: Chaos, Yin, and Yang—bridging the forces of Yin-Yang and even Chaos itself.
The moment it was formed, Yi Tianxing felt an even deeper resonance with Heaven and Earth.
Achieving the Dao Platform Realm by forging altars was both difficult and simple.
The hard part lay in the collection of miraculous materials. Many cultivators remained stuck in the first phase their entire lives, unable to move forward due to lacking the right items. Even rarer were those with suitable and compatible materials.
And once obtained, every item had to be carefully identified and analyzed—another huge challenge.
But once that was done, forging the altar itself became a straightforward process—so long as one knew the appropriate formation.
For Yi Tianxing, with his deep foundation, the altars formed naturally.
The Tai Chi Altar manifested as a round platform, appearing beneath the Three Talents Altar. It was larger in size and supported the upper altar. The black and white Tai Chi Diagram rotated on its surface as ancient glyphs danced around it.
"Tai Chi births Two Forms, Two Forms birth Four Symbols: Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind. We can find those too."
Little Mi quickly picked out four materials imbued with the Four Symbols' powers.
Yi Tianxing didn't hesitate and constructed the Four Symbols Altar as the third layer.
The process was smooth. The Four Symbols altar bore glyphs representing Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind—capable of invoking scenes of creation and destruction, of chaos and rebirth.
"We can also build the Five Elements Altar. These materials cover all five elements—metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Use this one, that one, and that one… Now's the perfect time."
Little Mi beamed with excitement.
The Great Yi Dynasty had indeed gathered a complete set of Five Elements materials.
Yi Tianxing immediately began construction.
It didn't take long before the Five Elements Altar was formed, its five elemental glyphs perfectly integrated.
Throughout the process, the original Purple Qi Altar continued to shrink—its essence consumed as fuel to nourish each layer of the growing structure.
Yet this was still not the end.
Yi Tianxing continued forging:—Seven Stars Altar—Eight Trigrams Altar—Nine Palaces Altar
Each was constructed one after another.
These altars were forged from the vast resources of the Great Yi Dynasty, accumulated through decades of conquest, and plundered from battlefields like the God-Demon Battlefield.
As for the Heavenly Gang and Earthly Fiends altars, Yi Tianxing deliberately skipped them.
"The Zhou Tian Altar contains the powers of both Heavenly Gang and Earthly Fiends. If we can find enough items with stellar essence, we can construct a Zhou Tian Altar directly. Skip the other two. There are two versions—Minor Zhou Tian (108 stars) and Major Zhou Tian (365 stars). Master, I recommend you start with the Minor Zhou Tian Altar. If you obtain more materials later, you can upgrade it."
Even with the strength of the entire dynasty, it was impossible to gather the 365 miraculous materials needed for a Major Zhou Tian Altar.
"Very well. Build the Minor Zhou Tian Altar."
Yi Tianxing agreed.
And so began the longest and most complex construction yet. One by one, 108 miraculous items were refined into stellar glyphs—each glowing with ancient Daoist energy.
Soon, a starry altar emerged, radiating divine starlight.
By this point, the massive Purple Qi altar at the base had been almost entirely consumed. Only a small fraction remained—barely enough for one or two more layers.
Yi Tianxing's nine-layer altar was taking shape—each layer perfect and solid, made from the purest essence of Innate Purple Qi and fused with extraordinary miraculous materials. Its quality rivaled Innate Spirit Treasures.
"For the final layer—I want to build a Time-Space Altar. Are there any items here that contain time or space attributes?"
Little Mi scanned the pile.
"Yes. This black orb contains time, and this silver shard contains space. These are the only two that qualify."
Yi Tianxing's eyes flickered with emotion when he saw the black orb.
"This… I remember this. I personally obtained this long ago, back in Darkblood Town. I had the gnomes inspect it using the Book of Truth. I never expected it to be this valuable—infused with the power of time."
Without hesitation, Yi Tianxing initiated the final fusion.
The black orb and silver shard were absorbed into the remaining altar base. They transformed into Time and Space glyphs, merging into a shimmering gold-silver altar, drawing in all remaining energy like a giant whale swallowing water.
The original Purple Qi altar vanished completely, its essence spent.
In its place stood a colossal nine-layer altar.
Tai Chi Altar
Three Talents Altar
Four Symbols Altar
Five Elements Altar
Seven Stars Altar
Eight Trigrams Altar
Nine Palaces Altar
Minor Zhou Tian Altar
Time-Space Altar
Nine layers, fused into a single structure—vivid and lifelike.
Every layer was as tangible as stone, every glyph pulsing with miracle power. The entire altar was forged from the most precious materials of Heaven and Earth, condensed from the finest Innate Purple Qi.
For a Dao Platform expert, this altar was a foundational treasure—its might surpassed even top-tier innate artifacts. It wasn't just a tool. It was a Proof-of-Dao Treasure.
"From this day forth, this shall be my Emperor's Altar."
Yi Tianxing took a deep breath and solemnly named it.
This was now the very core of his cultivation path—his foundation for attaining the Dao.
With the Emperor's Altar, he could now draw upon Yin-Yang, Three Talents, Four Symbols, Five Elements, and more at will.
Now, he was stronger than ever before.
Dao Platform Realm:→ Altar,→ Longevity,→ Dao Establishment.
Constructing the altar was merely the first phase. The next phase, Longevity, involved fusing one's true spirit into the altar and engraving their True Name upon it.
Once the True Name was etched, even if the cultivator were slain, as long as the altar remained intact and received enough willpower from sentient beings, resurrection was possible. The True Name preserved a form of immortality—it was a unique signature of the soul.
"The journey of cultivation is long and arduous. Yet I will continue to seek the Dao above and below."
Feeling the transformation brought by the Emperor's Altar, Yi Tianxing couldn't help but reflect deeply.
At this point, he finally had the strength to confront any danger.
Reaching the Dao Platform Realm meant standing among the world's true powerhouses.
Even those in the Dao Proving Realm couldn't easily kill someone like him.
He now had the full confidence to lead the Great Yi Dynasty forward.
Meanwhile, in a deep-sea region within Great Yi's territory…
Three figures—cloaked in black, white, and red—appeared thousands of meters beneath the surface.
It was pitch dark, the sea bottom silent and still. Even glowing corals and luminous seaweed could not penetrate the abyssal gloom.
"This is the place," the one in black confirmed after scanning the surroundings.
"Let's not waste time. Open the Demon Abyss—no telling which forbidden demonic realm it will connect to. But we can't linger. If Great Yi detects us, we'll be in deep trouble."
The white-robed figure spoke anxiously.
Great Yi's surveillance was too powerful—its two Heavenly Eyes constantly monitored the realm. The moment their aura was detected, every warning system in the dynasty would activate.
"Regardless of where the Abyss leads, it will surely bring great disaster to Great Yi."
The black-robed one smiled grimly.
With a wave of his hand, he performed a series of complex hand seals, directing them into the seabed.
RUMBLE!!!
A moment later, a pitch-black vortex emerged on the sea floor. It resembled a swirling portal, eerie and vast. It did not draw in seawater—some mysterious barrier kept the outside world separate.
Yet from within the vortex emanated a violent, primal, and terrifying aura.
Nearby sea creatures sensed it and fled in a panic.
