The doctor diagnosed Emma with concussion and prescribed her some medicine before she was allowed to return home.
Ellie held on to her friend's hand. There was hint of both guilt and concern in her eyes. "Do you really not have to stay in the hospital for few days? You finally became smart. What if you get stupid because of me once again?"
Although Emma had faint dizziness in her head, Ellie's humorous words brought a hint of smile on her lips. Emma said, "If I get stupid, don't you have to take responsibility for me?"
Ellie patted on her chest, reassuring, "No worries, Emma. Even if you get dumb, I can take care of you. If it gets to worse, I will marry you."
"If you get married to me, you will have to give up all those handsome men of yours. I value loyalty," Emma teased.
Before Ellie could respond, both of their conversation were cut short when Emma spotted Daniel in front of them, stepping out of a hospital room.
