The next couple of weeks went busy for Emma.
There wasn't space for her to think about much with the finals and assignments on her shoulder.
On the paper she worked with Daniel, it impressed the professor, and both of them were promised with extra credits for the course.
As Daniel gave his word, he provided her with the lecture notes of the course. Going through his neatly written and clearly organized words, the subject became easier for her.
Vanessa tried to bring up going for various outings a couple of times, but Emma ignored her words. As for her friend, Ellie, although she initially forced the girl to sit with her for a couple of days, she lost her will soon after, sneaking out to have fun.
Thinking how nothing critical happened during this period of time, Emma let her do what she wanted.
Soon enough, it was time for the finals. Emma had four courses to sit for. For the first time, standing outside the exam hall, her hands were clammy with nervousness.
