Chapter 205 - Chapter 205: The Young Justice Comes

[3rd POV]

A couple of days had passed since Wanda had asked herself that rather important question. During those two days, Wanda had not done much besides running the store, and growing closer to her newest daughter Amity.

The two days flew by, helping train Amity in her new magics, and making sure that she properly learned how to utilize aura, which was her starting energy. She had gotten pretty far in it's training so far, not enough to be a true master or anything, but she was skilled enough to use it without much difficulty.

Her magic had been progressing rapidly thanks to her own talent, and at the moment she was upstairs training with Raven. The woman had proven to be an excellent teacher, and was more than enough for her to learn magic. Wanda didn't even really need to step in to train her, but that was just how skilled Raven had become.

She was likely the best magic user in the DC universe that she hailed from, surpassed only by literal deities like the Lords of Chaos and the Lords of Order.

Today was a rather interesting day, as she had indeed gotten some new customers, and ones that she had been waiting for. A group of people (the full group), that she had seen, but they had not seen her.

This group was of course...

The Young Justice.

Or "The Team".

Kaldur, Wally, Dick, Superboy, M'gann, and Artemis. All of them were walking into the store, glancing around.

"So this is the place? Really? The mysterious book store that the League has warned us about so much? It doesn't seem like much" Artemis said, as she looked around.

"Yeah we came here before, it has awesome comics, but...nothing mystical" Dick said, before they all noticed Wanda standing there with amusement on her face.

"I was wondering when the lot of you would come here. But I suppose I shouldn't be entirely surprised it took you this long, Batman can be quite the overbearing man" Wanda said, as she glanced at the Martian.

"I'd also suggest not attempting anything with my mind, little Martian. My mind is far too much for you to even attempt to sense, and should you try, it'll not go well" Wanda warned, as her mind was not restrained at the moment like she had with Deanna.

And even Deanna had only seen a portion of a portion of a portion, and she still nearly passed out from the sheer strength of it.

"How did you-" "You know about my encounter with the League, yes? Then you should know that I know all about you, all of you actually. It's sort of my thing, knowing things about people. Being an entity like myself would do that" Wanda cut off M'gann with a calm smile on her face, not bothering to hide that she was indeed not human.

"As for your statement earlier, "Robin" my store does have mystical books and other alien ones, but all of them are hidden underneath wards in order to not be taken advantage of. But I suppose I can let you all see them" Wanda added, as she snapped her finger, the bookshelves around the room shimmering as new ones formed and new books appeared throughout the room.

"...So uh, what exactly are you?" Robin asked, deciding not to separate to look at the books just yet. Hearing the question, the other members of the team stared at Wanda with interest in their eyes.

"Hmm, that is quite the loaded question, Robin. I am a lot of things, so it'd be hard to truly answer that. But I suppose the simplest answer I can give is that I am a higher being known as the "Scarlet Witch". You can think of me as the second strongest entity in the multiverse. Is that a good enough answer or should I be a bit more in depth?" Wanda responded, as they all looked at her with wide eyes.

"Second strongest entity?" M'gann squeaked with a shocked expression on her face.

"Wait, second? If you're some almighty entity, who is stronger?" Artemis asked, confused. She was honestly not too afraid of the woman before her or anything, as she knew that if Wanda wanted them dead, or wanted to hurt them, they wouldn't even be able to fight back. Hell, they wouldn't even know they were dead until the moment that they died.

"The big guy of course. Even I can't hope to compare to the almighty creator" Wanda responded like it was obvious, because it was.

"Wait...Gods real?" Wally said with wide eyes.

"Mhmm, never met them before, but I know for a fact that they exist. The one that created this multiverse is one of their aspects, known as the "Presence", I guess technically they're stronger than me too, but they're a part of God so I don't really count them" Wanda replied with a shrug, blowing the minds of the kids who were growing increasingly confused.

"Okay you are really blowing my mind right now" Robin replied as he shook his head, he was believing her words, since Batman had said many times when they had asked about her and his avoidance of her, that she was the real deal. And that she is not someone you can or should fuck with, under no circumstances.

"How can we even know that you are telling the truth about any of this? For all we know you are lying directly to our face" Superboy said as he crossed his arms, staring at Wanda who raised an eyebrow at his words.

"Well for one, I have no reason to lie about something like this. Lying is far below me, Superboy. I am stronger than needing something like that. Better to be blunt and truthful about things" Wanda replied with a shrug, before she continued.

"And you are of course welcome to continue not trusting my words. It really makes no difference to me whether or not you do" Wanda finished as she looked back at Kaldur who began to speak.

"I apologize for words, and you said that you have books on magic? Do you have any on Atlantean magics or hydromancy?" Kaldur asked. He was hoping to learn from some new books in order to strengthen his magical skill, which he believed was severely lacking at this point in time.

"Of course. I've got dozens of books from both areas. The glowing books in the third bookshelf and the seventh bookshelf are the ones you are looking for" Wanda told the teen as he nodded and walked off to look over the books.

"Wait where are you going?" Wally asked, watching Kaldur.

"To shop for books? That is why we are here, afterall" Kaldur responded, before turning and walking off to look over the books.

"Do you have books on telepathy and strengthening psionic power?" M'gann asked next, deciding to follow Kaldur's lead.

"2nd bookshelf and 4th bookshelf, they're glowing blue" Wanda said, as the girl beamed and ran off to look over the books.

"Uh...got any books on how to increase my speed?" Wally asked, deciding to stop complaining.

"Mmhmm, 1st row 8th shelf, glowing yellow" Wanda responded, and once again he walked off.

"Got any books on martial arts?" Artemis and Robin both asked at the same time, making them look at each other in surprise.

"They're in all sorts of sections, but the ones glowing green are the ones that the two of you will be able to utilize. Neon green is more suited for Artemis, dark green for Robin" Wanda said, as the two of them nodded and walked off to find their books.

"...Got anything that can help me overcome my weakness to Kryptonite? Or increase my rate of absorbing solar radiation?" Superboy asked, deciding to stop complaining and just taking advantage of this chance.

"The books that are glowing red. I'd suggest starting with solar radiation, as that might help with the kryptonite resistance" Wanda suggested, as Superboy nodded slowly before turning and walking off.

'That kid really needs to learn to relax a bit more. He is way too stressed about everything' Wanda thought, noticing the way that Superboy was acting.

She wondered if she needed to speak with Superman about the lack of help he was giving the boy. Said boy was technically his son, and kind of like a brother. So it was certainly weird that he was just ignoring him.

Either way, Wanda was interested to see what they chose, and what they would do with the books in question. So, Wanda watched them with only one thought on her mind.

'I wonder what books they'll be getting?'
